Abstract

Biology as a subject that explores living things and their environment will never be separated from any issues related to norms and ethics. In every development there will always be issues that can be related to ethical issues. Ethics is a boundary that causes a right/wrong assessment of every human behavior. Therefore, this article is written to examine ethics in biology learning to educate future responsible scientists. The method used in this research is descriptive with a library research approach. The data collection technique used is to search and collect reading sources from journals/articles that have been published before. The sources that have been collected are then analyzed to obtain the desired information. The results obtained are that in its implementation, biology education is not only required to provide learning related to theory but also related to biological ethics or also known as bioethics. The reason is, because biology is a branch of science that is directly related to living things and their environment, so it is necessary to have restrictions so that humans also still have a sense of responsibility.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas hubungan antara gangguan pendengaran dan keseimbangan statistik, dengan fokus pada dampak gangguan pendengaran terhadap kemampuan individu dalam mempertahankan keseimbangan. Gangguan pendengaran, yang ditandai dengan kesulitan dalam mendengar suara dengan jelas, dapat mempengaruhi pengumpulan data yang akurat dalam penelitian, terutama melalui wawancara dan survei. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap mekanisme di mana gangguan pendengaran dapat mengganggu proses pengumpulan data dan mempengaruhi keseimbangan individu. Dengan menggunakan metode meta-analisis, data kuantitatif diekstrak dari berbagai studi yang relevan untuk menganalisis perbedaan dalam perpindahan Center of Pressure (COP) antara individu dengan pendengaran normal dan mereka yang mengalami gangguan pendengaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa individu dengan gangguan pendengaran mengalami perpindahan COP yang lebih besar, yang mengindikasikan ketidakstabilan keseimbangan yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu, kondisi seperti penutupan mata dan berdiri di permukaan yang tidak rata memperburuk keseimbangan pada individu dengan gangguan pendengaran. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya informasi dari sistem sensorik, termasuk vestibular, visual, dan proprioseptif, dalam pengendalian keseimbangan. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa gangguan pendengaran dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan risiko jatuh, terutama pada populasi lanjut usia. Dengan demikian, artikel ini memberikan wawasan yang lebih dalam mengenai dampak gangguan pendengaran terhadap keseimbangan dan implikasinya dalam penelitian serta praktik klinis. Diharapkan, hasil penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya mempertimbangkan gangguan pendengaran dalam desain penelitian dan pengumpulan data, serta memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi intervensi yang lebih efektif untuk individu dengan gangguan pendengaran.
