Abstract

The role of parents is the duties and obligations that must be carried out by parents, where taking this role influences the child's level of independence later. The role of parents is not only seen as a teacher, but can be a guide, mentor, and also a model for their children. In the process that was carried out by parents, various problems occurred, between children who had received disgraceful treatment from peers, parents' mistakes from the start spoiled their children, not only that, there were parents who succeeded in forming their child's independence. This study uses qualitative research methods and uses a phenomenological approach to find the meaning of a phenomenon under study. This research was also strengthened through observation and interviews to obtain data regarding the influence of the role of parents in shaping and increasing children's independence. In this study using the theory of Symbolic Interactionism by George Herbert Mead which explains the process in which individuals interact with themselves using various meaningful symbols. Symbolic interactionism is based on ideas about individuals and their interactions with society, through communication or the exchange of symbols that are given meaning. This symbolic interactionism exists because the basis for forming meaning originates from the human mind (Mind), self (Self), and relationships or relationships in the midst of social interaction and interpreting meaning in society (Society).

Abstract

Patrol music group is a unique platform to explore and express various cultural values in musical works. Patrol music group often combines several cultural elements from various backgrounds to create a unique and interesting musical work. This research aims to explore the role of cultural values in the creation of patrol music and its impact on cultural appreciation among the society. The research also revealed that patrol music has the potential to increase tolerance, understanding, and appreciation towards cultural diversity. Patrol music encourages the audience to enjoy a rich cultural experience through music, making it possible to expand understanding of cultural diversity. In addition, patrol music often serves as a means to facilitate meetings among different community groups and provides opportunity to strengthen national awareness and cultural identity. This study points out that patrol music serves not only as a means of entertainment, but also as a means to deliver powerful messages related to the power of culture in building and developing social relationship, as well as promoting cultural identity. The results of this research can give insights into how cultural values of patrol music influence the cultural identity, both of individuals and the broaden society.

Abstract

A community at risk is a situation when the community experiences a sensitivity to the presence of modernization whose impact will make the community at risk, which means that the community will experience and will face various threats and uncertainty in life. Risk itself is a hazard or threat, consequences, and also the consequences that can be obtained from a process that is happening, even events that will come later. Various problems arise because of a risk. According to Beck himself, risk is the possibility of physical damage, as well as mental health, and social as a result of technological processes as well as various other processes, such as examples in communication, social and politics, even sexual. Various problems arise in society, especially in modern society caused by various things. According to Beck, there is also a physical ecological risk, which includes humans and their environment, the second is biological risk, and the third is mental risk. There are also many cases that occurred in Indonesia which caused a high risk. One example of a case that has occurred is the Covid Pandemic, which may still occur until now. This covid pandemic is often called covid-19. The outbreak of this disease first entered Indonesia in 2019. There is also a risk from technological developments, which include globalization which includes culture, the spread of hoaxes, hate speech which results in mental damage, and political lies.
