Abstract

These days, kelp sawmills are a significant contributor to the national economy as well as a dynamic force in the international business community. When it comes to the growth and development of the Indonesian economy, the agricultural sector is one of the most important players. In today's enterprises, there is still a significant problem with worker productivity that has to be addressed. When formulating plans to increase employee productivity, a firm needs to take into consideration the climate, culture, and geography of the surrounding working environment. The purpose of this study was to learn how organizational climate, organizational culture, and organizational environment all affected productivity at the Strategic Development and Management division (SDM) of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan. Specifically, the study wanted to determine how organizational climate affected productivity at SDM, how organizational culture affected productivity at SDM, and how organizational environment affected productivity at SDM. A quantitative approach was used for this investigation. Primary data and secondary data are the two types of data that were used in this research project. Participants in this research come from the Operational Services Division of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan. They are the sample population for this investigation. In all, there were 35 people who took part in the survey that was used for this research. A method of taking a random sample known as non probability sampling is used in the sampling process. A Likert scale will be used as the information gathering method for the postcards that will be distributed. The version 26 of the statistical package SPSS is used for the analysis. The assumptions test, the linear regression analysis test, the parsimony test, the simultaneous analysis test, and the coefficient determination test are some examples of the several types of tests that may be used to analyze data. According to the results of this research, each of the independent factors, such as organizational climate, organizational culture, and workplace environment, have a simultaneous and partial influence on worker productivity Y. According to the R values presented above, which are also referred to as coefficient determination coefficients, the organizational climate (X1), organizational culture (X2), and work environment (X3) have a combined 70% effect on worker productivity (Y), whereas the remaining 30% is influenced by factors that are not included in the variables that were investigated in this study.

Abstract

PT. Bank Sumut Head Office Medan needs a better assessment of employee productivity to improve the company's performance. Employee productivity assessment can be conducted by analyzing factors influencing employee productivity such as locus of control and rewards. This analysis helps identify which factor has a greater impact on enhancing employee productivity at PT. Bank Sumut Head Office. This study aims to analyze the effect of locus of control and rewards on employee productivity at PT. Bank Sumut Head Office Medan Human Resources Division both partially and simultaneously. This research employs a quantitative method. The population in this study includes employees of PT. Bank Sumut Head Office Medan Human Resources Division, with a sample size of 31 respondents. The sampling was conducted using a non-probability sampling method with a saturated sampling approach. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire measured with a likert scale. The analysis methods used in this study include instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The testing was conducted using Ms. Excel and SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that the locus of control variable has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, while rewards do not affect employee productivity. Additionally, locus of control and rewards simultaneously influence employee productivity. Based on the Adjusted R Square value, it is known that the locus of control and rewards variables contribute 68,5% to the employee productivity variable, while the remaining 31,5% is influenced by factors outside of this study.

Abstract

Riset ini untuk mengetahui dampak komitmen, konflik kerja-keluarga, dan citra perusahaan terhadap niat untuk keluar dari pekerjaan pekerja di CU. Sondang Nauli. Riset ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi yang diteliti adalah pekerja di CU. Sondang Nauli, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 45 orang. Sebanyak 73% dari responden berusia antara 21-23 tahun, dan terdapat 25 pekerja perempuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai data primer, serta buku dan jurnal terkait sebagai data sekunder. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji parsial, dan uji determinasi. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa komitmen, konflik kerja-keluarga, dan citra perusahaan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat untuk keluar dari pekerjaan pekerja. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel ini mempengaruhi niat untuk keluar dari pekerjaan dengan nilai R sebesar 0,809, yang menunjukkan bahwa 80,9% dari variasi dalam niat untuk keluar dari pekerjaan dapat dijelaskan oleh komitmen, konflik kerja-keluarga, dan citra perusahaan. Nilai Adjusted R Square adalah 65,5%, sementara 34,5% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam riset ini

Abstract

Human resources play an important role in advancing a company, especially banking companies such as Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Padangsidempuan. Therefore, companies need to pay attention to the conditions experienced by employees, especially regarding career development and guarantees, mental state, and work atmosphere and facilities in order to form. However, the turnover rate in the company tends to be high in the past year, which can be seen from the greater number of employees leaving than entering the company. It was found that fear of career threats, giving workloads that are considered inadequate, and inadequate atmosphere and facilities are the causes of turnover in the company. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the variables Job Insecurity, Work Stress, and Work Environment used to explain the occurrence of Turnover Intention phenomenon in employees at BSI Padangsidempuan. This study also aims to analyze the influence of the first three variables on the turnover process in the company. The study was conducted using a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 32 employees who were also the entire population of BSI Padangsidempuan supported by secondary data such as various books and previous studies. The data were then analyzed using instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regressions, and hypothesis tests as data interpretation tools. The researchers found that the variables Job Insecurity, Job Stress, and Work Environment had a significant effect on changes in the Turnover Intention variable with a level of correlation and influence of 96.3% and 91.9%, respectively. The results of the study indicate that factors related to the three variables are the cause of employee turnover at BSI Padangsidempuan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of User Generated Content (UGC) and Brand Love on the purchase decisions of Ms Glow product consumers in Medan City. Motivated by the significant growth of the Indonesian beauty industry post-pandemic, where the self-care segment dominates the market, this quantitative study with an associative approach examines the partial and simultaneous effects of both variables through multiple linear regression analysis, following the verification of classical assumptions (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity). The results indicate that UGC and Brand Love significantly impact the purchase decisions of Ms Glow consumers. This is supported by a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.777, indicating a strong relationship between the variables, and an Adjusted R Square value of 0.596, meaning that 59.6% of the variance in purchase decisions can be explained by UGC and Brand Love. Furthermore, the majority of respondents showed a positive perception of Ms Glow, particularly regarding customer involvement in product promotion and the emotional connection with the brand. These findings provide empirical insights into the crucial role of UGC and Brand Love in shaping consumer purchase decisions within the context of beauty products in Medan City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of brand image and brand trust on consumer loyalty of Samsung smartphones in Medan City. This study aims to provide deeper insight into how these two aspects influence consumer preferences. The influence of these two variables will be examined both individually and simultaneously on user loyalty. The methodology used in this study adopts a quantitative approach with a survey design. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to Samsung smartphone users in Medan City face-to-face and through the Google Form online form. Data processing was carried out using statistical methods to test the hypothesis regarding the relationship between brand image and brand trust on customer loyalty. The results of the study indicate a strong relationship between these variables. The correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.746 shows this. In addition, the Adjusted R Square value of 0.548 indicates that 54.8% of the variation in loyalty can be explained by brand image and brand trust. Most respondents showed a good perception of Samsung's brand reputation, which then influenced their purchasing decisions and loyalty to the brand.

Abstract

This Economic and Social Service Program aims to Revitalize Coastal Creative Skills in Langkat Regency through the Development of a Nipah Craft Industry Based on Non-Formal Education at the Mina Center Community Learning Center (PKBM Mina Center). Coastal communities in Langkat Regency have great potential in processing nipah palms into creative craft products, but face various challenges, such as limited processing skills, limited marketing access, minimal financial literacy, and low environmental awareness. In addition, the capacity of the partner (PKBM Mina Center) to provide technical and marketing support is also not optimal. This program offers solutions through intensive training and mentoring to coastal communities and partners, with a focus on improving nipah palm processing skills into high-value creative craft products, introducing digital marketing through social media and e-commerce, financial literacy and business management training, introducing simple technology to increase production efficiency, and environmental education on the importance of preserving nipah palms and coastal ecosystems. This program consists of three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage includes identifying needs, developing training materials, and coordinating with stakeholders. The implementation stage includes skills training, technical mentoring, digital marketing training, business management education, and environmental education. The evaluation phase is conducted to monitor and evaluate the program's success and provide feedback for improvement. This program is expected to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of the nipah handicraft industry in Langkat Regency, while simultaneously encouraging inclusive local economic growth. Furthermore, the program also contributes to the achievement of higher education's Key Performance Indicators (KPI), such as student experiences outside campus, lecturers' off-campus

Abstract

This Partnership Service Program aims to revitalize MSMEs in Langkat Regency by strengthening mentoring partners, with a focus on marketing agility and financial innovation. MSMEs in Langkat Regency face various challenges, such as limited market access, low product innovation, and difficulty accessing finance. Furthermore, the capacity of mentoring partners to provide support is also suboptimal. This program offers solutions through intensive training and mentoring to mentoring partners, which will then help MSMEs adopt digital marketing strategies, improve financial literacy, and access innovative financing sources. The program consists of three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage includes identifying needs, developing training materials, and coordinating with stakeholders. The implementation stage includes training mentoring partners, mentoring MSMEs, and implementing digital marketing strategies and financial innovation. The evaluation stage is conducted to monitor and evaluate the program's success and provide feedback for improvement. This program is expected to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in Langkat Regency, while simultaneously promoting inclusive local economic growth. Furthermore, this program also contributes to the achievement of higher education Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as student experiences outside campus, lecturers' off-campus activities, and community utilization of lecturers' work.

Abstract

FinTech developments are increasing, one of which is the creation of Mobile Banking, where currently people use this application to make daily transactions easier and more practical. This research was conducted to see the effect of the effectiveness of ease of use and Customer Satisfaction on customer loyalty of North Sumatra bank mobile banking users in the city of Medan. This research uses quantitative research methods with an associative approach, and uses non-probability sampling with purposive sampling and 100 respondents, using several tests managed with SPSS. The results of this research show that the variables ease of use and customer satisfaction have an influence simultaneously on the customer loyalty variable of 0.000 < 0.05 and the Fcount value obtained is 48.2% and 52.8%. the rest is influenced by factors outside this research model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the punishment system, training, and perceived organizational support on the employee discipline. The form of research used is quantitative with an associative approach. Research sampling using the Slovin formula with a total of 63 respondents as samples. The primary data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly and secondary data were obtained through literature studies. Data analysis methods in research use instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear analysis tests and hypothesis tests using SPSS. The results of the study showed that the variables of punishment system and perceived organizational support had a significant partial effect on the work discipline of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal employees. And the training variable has no significant effect on work discipline.
