Abstract

The future is full of uncertainty. Therefore, financial management knowledge is needed which will be useful inn the future. This conditions requires individu, especially college students, to be able to financial manage and allocate the funds into savings or investment. This research was conducted to determine the influence of investment knowledge, minimum capital policy, capital market training, and risk perception on investment interest of students majoring in accounting and management at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. This research took a sample of 100 students majoring in maagement and accounting. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. The data was analyzed using SPSS version 22 software. The results of this research were that the influence of investment knowledge, minimum capital policy, capital market training, and risk perception had a significant effect on the dependent variable of students' investment interest.
