Abstract

The problem in this research is the ability to master Arabic Mufrodat at Qurotta A'yun Elementary School in Purwakarta district, West Java. The aim of this research is to test students' ability to master Arabic vocabulary by applying the reward and punishment learning method in class III of Qurotta A'yun Elementary School, Purwakarta Regency. Apart from that, this research also aims to question whether the application of the reward and punishment method can improve students' ability to master Arabic vocabulary in class III of Qurotta A'yun Elementary School, Purwakarta Regency. The research method used is a quantitative method with the research type Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research focuses on the learning process and outcomes. The research was conducted at Qurrota A'yun Elementary School, Purwakarta Regency with the research subjects being teachers and class III students. Data was collected through test, observation and documentation techniques. The research results show that the application of the reward and punishment method can improve students' ability to master understanding Arabic.

Abstract

It has become public awareness that education is a means that human beings use throughout their lives to transmit and transform values as well as knowledge. Due to its strategic roles in transmitting and transforming values and knowledge, education also plays a very important role in instilling and developing the nation's character. Character education is important for the human's life so that the role education plays is not only limited to showing moral knowledge but also loving and willing to take moral actions.
