Abstract

Power is used as the basis of politics, where individuals or groups try to use it to achieve personal or group goals. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of power and politics in an organizational context, as well as to understand how the distribution of power, the use of politics, and the dynamics of power and politics can affect organizational performance. The research method in this article uses library research, which is a study that studies various reference books as well as the results of previous similar research that is useful for obtaining a theoretical basis for the problem to be studied. power and politics play an important role in organizations. Power can appear in various forms, such as formal power related to hierarchical positions and informal power related to interpersonal influence. Organizational politics involves the efforts of individuals or groups to utilize their power to achieve personal or group goals. Keyword : Power, Politics, Organization

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the emergence of Tiktok Shop as s-commerce which has a huge influence on economic growth in Indonesia, especially for MSME players in the current digital era. The focus of this research uses the competitiveness framework from Stavros, Cooperrider, & Kelly to describe Tiktok Shop's strength map in digital transformation through SOAR analysis. The research method used is a systematic literature review with a meta-synthesis approach. The results showed that Tiktok Shop has offered significant opportunities for MSMEs in Indonesia to take advantage of digital transformation in developing businesses. However, there are several challenges that need to be overcome, including intense competition, building trust and credibility with consumers, reaching the right audience, and issues related to user data privacy and security. Collaborative efforts with various parties show strategic steps to support the growth of MSMEs in the Tiktok Shop ecosystem as a C2B model with an innovative approach and focus on user experience so that it has the potential to become a major player in the s-commerce industry.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate a development strategy for furniture MSMEs in Pasuruan City using the SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results) approach. The main problems faced are the low utilization of digital marketing and the lack of understanding of business actors on the principles of sustainability. The method used is descriptive qualitative with case studies, through observation, interviews, and documentation of MSME actors and stakeholders. The results showed that the strengths of furniture MSMEs lie in product uniqueness, local artisan skills, and availability of raw materials. Strategic opportunities include the trend of digitalization and the increasing demand for environmentally friendly local products. Business aspirations include increasing production capacity, business regeneration, and market expansion. The proposed strategies include digital marketing training, management assistance, and collaboration with educational institutions. The concrete results expected from the implementation of this strategy are an increase in sales volume by 20-30% in the medium term, increased product competitiveness through quality certification and innovative designs, and the formation of a collaborative ecosystem between furniture businesses in Pasuruan City. This research concludes that the SOAR approach is able to provide constructive and realistic strategic direction in the development of furniture MSMEs in a sustainable manner by integrating internal potential and external opportunities synergistically.
