Abstract

This study aims to describe and inform the bamboo musical instrument learning strategy for extracurricular activities in the State Elementary School 94 Lalong. The research method used is descriptive qualitative methods. The research took place in SDN 94 Lalong and in Lalong Village houses, Walenrang, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, before and after the pandemic, started from October 2019 until June 2021. Data is collected through observation, interview and literature study, and triangulation for data validity. The result of this study is showed that bamboo musical instrument learning strategy for extracurricular activities in SDN 94 Lalong Luwu Regency South Sulawesi, used Participative Teaching and Learning strategy is learning that involved coach as the center and students as learners from early planning, implementation, and evaluation. Learning methods used are demonstration, question and answer, drill, Team Teaching, and Kodaly methods. Other than that, with the existence of bamboo musical instrument extracurricular activities in SDN 94 Lalong, Luwu Regency, bamboo musical art can be elevated and become a motivation for Luwu community and other regions to keep on preserving bamboo musical art from Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi.

Abstract

Abstrak Rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik disebabkan oleh peserta didik merasa bosan mengerjakan tugas disebabkan karena tugas yang diberikan selalu hanya mencatat atau meringkas apa yang ada di dalam buku paket. Selain itu, kurangnya kesiapan belajar peserta didik dilihat dari beberapa situasi seperti tidak mengerjakan tugas dan hanya main game di hp saja, lupa membawa buku dan alat tulis dan kurang persiapan dalam belajar kelompok sehingga sulit untuk berkolaborasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menimbulkan minat belajar peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran berkarya musik khususnya untuk peserta didik SMP dengan desain pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis dan MC Taggart termuat dalam beberapa tindakan dengan 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang telah dilakukan membuktikan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik menandakan keberhasilan upaya peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik. Dengan desain pembelajaran yang dikemas semenarik mungkin yaitu menggunakan model problem-based learning metode diskusi, tanya jawab dan presentasi yang dibantu dengan media situs Chrome Music Lab fitur Song Maker yang berbasis teknologi pada pembelajaran berkarya musik.Kata Kunci: problem-based learning; minat belajar; berkarya musik Abstract The low interest in learning of students is caused by students feeling bored doing assignments because the assignments given are always just to record or summarize what is in the textbook. In addition, the lack of readiness for learning of students can be seen from several situations such as not doing assignments and only playing games on cellphones, forgetting to bring books and stationery and lack of preparation in group learning so that it is difficult to collaborate. The purpose of the study was to arouse students' interest in learning to create music, especially for junior high school students with an interesting and enjoyable learning design. The research method used the Classroom Action Research method Kemmis and MC Taggart models contained in several actions with 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection with a qualitative approach. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the Classroom Action Research that had been carried out proved that there was an increase in student learning outcomes indicating the success of efforts to increase student interest in learning. With a learning design that is packaged as attractively as possible, namely using a problem-based learning model, discussion method, questions and answers and presentations assisted by the Chrome Music Lab site media, Song Maker feature which is based on technology in learning to create music.Keywords: problem-based learning; interest in learning; create music
