Abstract

Lecturers do not use graphic media e-learning teaching materials accessed through Unesa Virtual Learning (Vinesa). It causes students to become less interested in learning, causing a decrease in student learning outcomes. This study assesses the feasibility and effectiveness of developing graphic media e-learning teaching materials. This type of research is development research with a quantitative approach. Methods of data collection using tests, observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative and t-test. The results of the study are the results of the feasibility of developing e-learning teaching materials for visual media, which are declared valid with very feasible material validation (96%), very feasible learning media (94%), very feasible learning designs (94%), very feasible individual trials ( 94%), very feasible small group trial (94%). The effectiveness results show that there is a difference in n-gain results between the control group and the experimental group. Developing e-learning teaching materials using visual media is feasible and effective enough to improve student learning outcomes. Graphic media e-learning teaching materials make it easier for students to learn.

Abstract

This community service learning program is collaboration between the Curriculum and Educational Technology Department of the Faculty of Education Sciences. A key issue facing most SMA and SMK Muhammadiyah school teachers is their lack of knowledge and understanding on how to develop valid and reliable test instruments. This research aims to enhance the knowledge of SMA and SMK Muhammadiyah teachers in developing learning assessment instruments. The Blended Learning method was applied for 32 hours of lessons that involved lectures, Q&A discussions, assignments, practical work, and tests. A total of 12 teachers from SMA and SMK Muhammadiyah schools took part in the program. The research method used was the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, which is a type of pre-experimental research design. Data drawn from the pretest and posttest results were analyzed using the t-test. Following the smooth implementation of training and mentoring, a key conclusion is that the community service learning program has successfully met its expected outcome of enhancing the teachers’ ability to develop test instruments. This is evidenced by a significant increase in posttest scores compared to pretest results at Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 < 0.05.

Abstract

The problem faced by private high school teachers is that they are not yet skilled in developing Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) questions based on numeracy, literacy, and scholastics. This research aims to increase the skills of private high school teachers in preparing Minimum Competency Assessment questions based on numeracy, literacy, and scholastics. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS. The methods used in this community service are mentoring, lectures, question-and-answer discussions, assignments, practice, and tests. The research subjects were 40 private high school teachers throughout Surakarta. The result found the training went according to the achievement target, namely increasing the teacher's ability to prepare minimum competency assessment questions. This is proven by an increase in the average posttest score of 83, with a pretest average of 61. These results were then t-tested significantly, with results in sig. (2 tailed) = 0.001 < 0.05, which means the pretest and posttest results increased significantly. The implication of this service activity is to increase teachers' abilities in preparing minimum competency assessment questions.
