Abstract

The dynamics of adolescent development today are in line with the times. The problems faced by adolescents are increasingly diverse in various aspects. Juvenile delinquency is no longer limited to skipping school or committing violations of school rules, but has spawned into criminal behavior and violence. The influence of association in shaping a person's character and personality can be a trigger for juvenile delinquency. Likewise, if parents are too restrictive, what happens is the child is unable to develop independently and they will try to break free from the restraints. But when this happens, the social environment, especially peers, is the person who is considered the most able to understand the various problems that are happening or have occurred. School is a special environment for changing behavior permanently in relation to all of his personal development. This is because most of the time for adolescents is spent in the school environment, so the character building that occurs in school must be done very carefully by teachers or educators. Therefore the authors are interested in knowing how the school's efforts to prevent truancy, especially at SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru. With the aim of knowing what efforts have been made by the school to prevent truancy by students. So that in this way we can know how the procedure or process is carried out by the school when truancy occurs. In addition, the author can also provide input or thoughts about how the efforts should be made by the school in preventing truancy later.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between area mapping and the pattern of crime prevention (preventive efforts) used by the Ujung Batu Police. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research by conducting interviews with key informants and informants who are in accordance with the research objectives and have relevant knowledge and information about the main problems in this study. Based on the results of the research, the mapping of crime-prone areas is very helpful for the police in carrying out preventive efforts, namely in preventing crimes that occur in Ujung Batu District, because from this mapping we can know which areas are the most vulnerable and what crimes dominate in the area. that. There are several steps taken by the Ujung Batu Sector Police in preventing the emergence of factors that cause crime in the legal domain of the Ujung Batu Police, including conducting patrols and adding police personnel, conducting village visits, and holding night patrols. The efforts made by the Ujung Batu Sector Police are carried out in a way that focuses on eliminating and minimizing the factors that cause crime.

Abstract

This study discusses the efforts of DP2KBP3A Kuantan Dingingi Regency in dealing with cases of sexual violance against children. This study aims to determine how DP2KBP3A Kuantan Singingi Regency in handling cases of sexual abuse against children. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach by conducting interviews with 5 key informants and 3 informants in this study. The results of this study indicate that efforts to handle cases of sexual violance against children can run as they are. From receiving public complaints, going to the field, case management, temporary shelter, mediation, victim assistance and outreach to villages in Kuantan Singingi district. However, the implementation of the efforts of victims of child sexual violence in DP2KBP3A Kuantan Singingi Regency is still ineffective and there is a need for public awareness about acts of sexual violence against children.

Abstract

The problem of air pollution at this time has reached an alarming level. This is with the increasing  number of pollutant  substances produced from daily activities, the number of factories  and  motorized  vehicles that produce pollutants pollute clean air every day. This is a source of problems for the survival of livinf things. This study aims to describe the public’s response to the impact of air pollution that they feel. Using a qualitative method with a Green Criminology perspective, it was found that the community felt very disturbed by the presence of oil palm companies around their settlements. The community has submitted their complaints to the company, the environmental service, and the people’s representative council. However until this research was carried out, progress had not been made as expected by the community. Even though ghere has been a reaction from the residents on the operation of the palm oil mills around them, there has been no concrete steps from the relevant parties (companies or the government), so that the community is still disturbed to this day.
