Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of student moral development and the impact arising from the implementation of the Full Day School program at SMP IT Permata Hati Merangin. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is analyzed by reducing irrelevant data, explaining it and drawing conclusions. The researcher found that in carrying out moral development, the teacher gave a good example in the form of words and actions that were in accordance with the rules in Islam so that they were used as role models for students. In addition, the habituation program includes religious activities such as reciting the Koran, reading Asmaul Husna, CIP (Morning Inspiration Stories), congregational Dhuha prayers, Dhuhr and Asr prayers in congregation, and sunnah fasting Monday-Thursday. Whereas in the implementation of a point system for students who violate school rules in order to minimize violations that occur. The positive impact of implementing moral development through the Full Day School is that in terms of actions/deeds, religion, and achievement become better. While the negative impact of implementing moral development through the Full Day School program is the lack of outreach to the community environment and often feeling tired and sleepy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembinaan akhlak siswa serta dampak yang ditimbulkan dari pelaksanaan program Full Day School di SMP IT Permata Hati Merangin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan mereduksi data yang tidak relevan, memaparkannya dan menarik kesimpulan. Peneliti menemukan bahwa dalam dalam pelaksanaan pembinaan akhlak, guru memberikan contoh yang baik berupa perkataan maupun perbuatan yang sesuai dengan kaidah dalamĀ  Islam agar dijadikan panutan bagi siswa. Di samping itu program pembiasaan yang berupa kegiatan keagamaan seperti mengaji, membaca Asmaul Husna, CIP (Cerita Inspirasi Pagi), sholat Dhuha berjamaah, sholat Dhuhur dan sholat Ashar berjamaah, dan puasa sunnah Senin-Kamis. Sedangkan dalam pemberlakuan sistem poin bagi siswa yang melanggar peraturan sekolah guna meminimalisir pelanggaran yang terjadi. Dampak positif dari pelaksanaan pembinaan akhlak melalui Full Day School adalah secara tindakan/perbuatan, kegamaan, dan prestasi menjadi lebih baik. Sedangkan dampak negatif dari pelaksanaan pembinaan akhlak melalui program Full Day School adalah kurangnya sosialisasi terhadap lingkungan masyarakat dan sering merasa capek dan mengantuk.
