Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis korelasi antara bahasa Inggris dan konsep matematika dalam pemikiran mahasiswa pada semester 5 program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. Melibatkan 20 subjek, data dikumpulkan melalui uji Google Form yang menilai kemampuan berpikir kreatif terkait pemahaman dan penjelasan konsep matematika dalam bahasa Inggris. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi bahasa Inggris dan matematika dalam pembelajaran meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika dan mendorong berpikir kreatif pada mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang berhasil mengintegrasikan kedua aspek tersebut menunjukkan tingkat berpikir kreatif yang tinggi, dipengaruhi oleh kemahiran berbahasa, pemahaman matematika, dan tingkat kreativitas. Pendekatan inklusif diperlukan untuk mengakomodasi berbagai tingkat kemampuan mahasiswa. Evaluasi kegiatan pengajaran dan partisipasi mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil positif, meskipun evaluasi mendalam diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa dalam aspek tertentu dari materi. Penelitian ini mendukung pengembangan strategi pengajaran holistik yang menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk memperkaya pemahaman konsep matematika dan keterampilan kreatif mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengetahuan mahasiswa calon guru mengenai Sejarah perkembangan matematika pada zaman Mesir kuno. Melalui analisis eksploratif, studi ini memperlihatkan tingkat pemahaman mereka terhadap konsep, asal-usul, Sejarah dan sistem numerasi matematika Mesir kuno. Penelitian menggunakan metode literatur review dan wawancara untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman mahasiswa. Hasilnya menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman yang bervariasi, dengan beberapa mahasiswa memiliki pengetahuan mendalam tentang perkembangan matematika Mesir kuno, sementara yang lain membutuhkan peningkatan pemahaman. Implikasi dari hasil ini adalah perlunya pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih mendalam dan terfokus pada aspek sejarah matematika Mesir kuno dalam kurikulum pendidikan guru.

Abstract

Build a flat quadrangle It is a certain line segment which is joined by four points where the points are not in a line, which in pairs meet at the ends and each line segment must meet with two corners which are formed called the corners in a quadrilateral with the corner points being the four points the. Quadrilateral shapes include squares, rectangles, parallelograms, rhombuses, kites and trapezoids. (Nadjib, 2014) The aim of this research is to determine and describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts of rectangular flat shapes at Al-Hidayah Sukorejo Middle School Class VII. The research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique is a sampling technique. From 37 students we take 4 students from the highest score to the lowest score. The results will show their respective understanding abilities towards the mathematical concept of flat shapes.

Abstract

Errors in solving math problems are often found in the steps of answering math problems by students. These errors can have an impact on the final results of students' answers. For this reason, researchers conducted research on the mistakes that are often made by students in answering math problems in terms of students' mathematical ability level. This research used descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were class X students at MA Abu Amr Paserpan totaling 29 students. Furthermore, researchers only took 6 students to be interviewed. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of observation, test questions, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the types of errors made by students when answering mathematical problems on the material of operating power numbers (exponents) in class X MA Abu Amr Learning Year 2023/2024 consist of three errors, namely, concept errors of 52.29%, language interpretation errors of 48.85% and technical errors of 56.32% where the level of students' mathematical ability also affects the types of errors experienced by these students.
