Abstract

The success or failure of God's servants is influenced by several factors, including attitude to life. This is because life attitudes speak more than words. Suffering is also faced by God's servants at GKII Bahtera Munak, but there has never been any research that explains the importance of determining attitudes and their impact on service. Through a descriptive qualitative research method with an approach to the 4 functions of suffering and the book 2 Timothy 2:1-13 as a reference verse, the results obtained were 75% of the functions fulfilled, proof of positive successful impacts, as well as conclusions that were in line with the four points in the reference verse. ABSTRAKBerhasil tidaknya pelayan Tuhan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor di antaranya adalah sikap hidup. Hal ini dikarenakan sikap hidup berbicara lebih banyak dari pada kata-kata. Penderitaan juga dihadapi oleh hamba Tuhan di GKII Bahtera Munak, namun belum pernah ada penelitian yang menjabarkan pentingnya menentukan sikap dan dampaknya bagi pelayanan. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan pada 4 fungsi penderitaan dan kitab 2 Timotius 2 :1-13 sebagai ayat rujukan, diperoleh hasil 75% fungsi terpenuhi, pembuktian dampak berhasil positif, serta kesimpulan yang sejalan dengan empat poin pada ayat rujukan.
