Abstract

Masa remaja seringkali labil dalam hal pemikiran dan prinsip hidup. Tembakau adalah zat sindroma adiktif yang disertai penarikan diri atau ketergantungan, baik secara fisiologis dan psikologis serta menyebabkan gangguan mental dan kualitas. Remaja pada umumnya merokok, ingin mengikuti trend yang ada disekitarnya dan ada beberapa remaja yang merokok hanya karena memiliki banyak teman yang merokok. Penelitian ini tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku remaja tentang rokok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Kuta Limbaru berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini pengambilan sampel secara acak sebanyak 55 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis satu dan dua dimensi dan diuji statistik dengan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan baik 96,3%, sikap positif 56,3% dan sebagian besar remaja tidak merokok 98,1%. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan perilaku merokok (P>0,005), namun ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap remaja dengan perilaku merokok (P<0,005). Sekolah juga diharapkan bekerja sama dengan otoritas kesehatan untuk melaksanakan program kesehatan yang meningkatkan pendidikan tentang bahaya merokok, dan sekolah harus menilai pengetahuan dan sikap merokok kaum remaja.

Abstract

Electronic cigarettes are a technology designed to help regular cigarette consumers quit. The development of electric cigarettes in Indonesia has formed a drug regulatory agency, conducting research related to electronic cigarettes. The purpose of this study was to describe the vaping behavior of young male students towards stress symptoms. This research is a quantitative research method. This data collection technique was carried out by direct observation and survey sampling techniques using random sampling techniques. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a population or subject of 35 male adolescents. It is known that of the 35 respondents who are still teenagers, there are 6 young respondents who smoke electric or vaping and are still smoking today. Smoking becomes a daily life and binds them every day, some of them also know worry and anxiety when they can't or find it difficult to refuse vaping.
