Abstract

Waste management is a series of activities that involve collecting, transporting, processing, and recycling waste materials. The aim of waste management is to reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment and humans. This process includes sorting types of waste, applying the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle, and handling according to the characteristics of each type of waste. The problem with the current waste management mechanism is that there is no transparency regarding the origin of the waste, distribution channels, or movement from the waste source to the waste recycling management site. The collected waste cannot be transparently detected at its source and distribution channels. Thus, the aim of this research is to increase the transparency of waste management using blockchain technology. Blockchain technology can provide a high level of transparency in waste management by using peer-to-peer validation from every stakeholder involved in waste management. Blockchain technology in waste management provides data security with the immutable concept of blockchain technology. The research method uses a qualitative approach by studying waste management, parties involved in waste management, and blockchain technology. The result of this research is a model for adopting waste management using blockchain technology and simulation with Ganache Blockchain Framework.

Abstract

In recent years, blockchain technology has garnered considerable interest in the renewable energy sector. Nonetheless, scholars have yet to investigate the comprehensive assessment of critical success factors (CSFs) for the implementation of blockchain technology in renewable energy. Furthermore, the current research lacks a stage framework or a standardized set of CSFs for blockchain technology. This review study seeks to establish a stage framework and identify a set of common CSFs for the effective adoption of blockchain technology by examining published materials pertinent to the topic under investigation. This evaluation employs a systematic literature review and scientific mapping methodology to objectively ascertain a collection of CSFs. We examined 65 journal articles from the Scopus database and Google Scholar, concentrating on prominent journals, keywords, countries/regions, and documents within the CSF domain of blockchain technology in renewable energy. The findings indicate that nations including China, Australia, the United States, and Germany have made the most significant contributions to this field. Among the 20 CSFs, the foremost five are regulation, integration with current systems, scalability, and security. The proposal delineates four principal research gaps and prospective research trajectories: environmental effect assessment, standardization, user experience and interface design, and management control. The insights and CSF checklist for blockchain technology will facilitate successful exploration and implementation in renewable energy.

Abstract

Deposito berjangka merupakan salah satu jenis investasi yang diminati masyarakat. Suku bunga yang lebih tinggi dari suku bunga tabungan menjadi salah satu kelebihan deposito berjangka. Namun pada system informasi investasi perbankan tidak memberikan informasi yang transparan kepada nasabah deposito berjangka tentang tingkat bunga, biaya investasi dan informasi lainnya seputar dana yang mereka investasikan di deposito berjangka. Nasabah hanya mendapatkan nominal dana dari persentase bunga tanpa ada jaminan transparansi dan validitas informasi yang mereka dapatkan di akhir periode investasi mereka. Dengan demikian tujuan dari riset ini membangun model teknologi blockchain untuk meningkatkan transparansi informasi bagi nasabah deposito berjangka. Dengan teknologi blockchain setiap transaksi deposito berjangka akan divalidasi oleh semua node dalam jaringan blockchain yang menjamin informasi yang disimpan pada jaringan blockchain transparan dan valid. Riset menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui literature review dan simulasi dengan Hyperledger Fabrics. Dari hasil simulasi dengan Hyperledger fabrics menunjukkan bahwa informasi tentang investasi dana ,pembagian bunga dan biaya deposito berjangka yang diinvestasikan ke bank bisa disimpan jika semua node yang ada pada jaringan blockchain sudah memvalidasi transaksinya.
