Abstract

Abstract : Research on improving pedagogical for innovation in the teaching quality of PAUD teachers needs to be examined critically in the framework of complementing previous studies whose study tends to focus on normative facts rather than empirical social facts. In line with that, this paper aims to find out how to “Improve Pedagogic Comptence for Innovation in the Teaching Quality of PAUD Teachers. This research is a type of qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of distributing instruments and interviews with instrumen being a list of written questions given to informants. Data from interviews and distribution of instruments aims to determine the pedagogical competence of PAUD teachers for teaching innovation for students. Through interview guidelines and the distribution of instruments given to 16 informants, they were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and obtained research results which showed that of the 16 PAUD teachers, the majority did not properly understand pedagogical competencies for teaching innovation. So it can be concluded, there has been an increase in the pedagogical competence of PAUD teachers after strategic were carried out by researchers. Teachers form each school experienced improvements both from the ability to understand the characteristic of students using a number of indictors to the ability to develop them in the process of educating and teaching. Keywords: Pedagogical Competence, Teaching Innovation, PAUD Teacher

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to offer enculturation of religious values and teachings in an effort to build a life together in the context of a diverse society. This study is motivated by the reality of the diversity of society in Ambon, Maluku, but this diversity does not lead to conflict and division. The method used in this research was a case study method on the life of the Hunuth Christian Elementary School community in Ambon. The results of the study show that Christian Religious Education (PAK) can be a medium for enculturation of religious values and teachings that can create harmony in society. This can be achieved through PAK subject matter that emphasizes love for others as a manifestation of love for God, and through contextualization of the texts of the Holy Bible.Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menawarkan enkulturasi nilai dan ajaran agama dalam upaya membangun kehidupan bersama dalam konteks masyarakat yang beragam. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan kemajemukan masyarakat di Ambon, Maluku, namun kemajemukan tersebut tidak membawa pada konflik dan perpecahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus terhadap kehidupan masyarakat Sekolah Dasar Kristen Hunuth Ambon. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) dapat menjadi media enkulturasi nilai dan ajaran agama yang dapat menciptakan keharmonisan masyarakat. Hal itu dapat dicapai melalui materi pelajaran PAK yang menekankan cinta kasih kepada sesama sebagai perwujudan cinta kasih kepada Tuhan, dan melalui pengontekstualisasian teks-teks Kitab Suci.
