Abstract

There is dissatisfaction from the Researcher regarding the Evangelism service carried out by the Papuan Union Forest Service Team (PUFST), in the Ketengban Tribe, which seems to only fulfill routine, so the Researcher theoretically analyzes all service methods to obtain special attention in improving service methods that adapt to the situation and conditions in the Ketengban Tribe. The service system for people in the Ketengban tribe has not been implemented optimally, the methods used for service have not been considered and cooperation has not been created. All of this indicates the level of success of services in the Ketengban Tribe. This research aims to: (1) explain the root of the problems in the ministry of preaching the Gospel of Christ in the Ketengban Tribe; (2) finding and offering evangelistic methods to reach new souls (3) finding and offering a good quality of life for people in the Ketengban Tribe; (4). find and offer service methods to have spiritual qualities for believers in the Ketengban Tribe. The results of the research have found several appropriate methods to be used by researchers and the PUFST Mission Team to be used in the ministry of preaching the Gospel of Christ in the Ketengban Tribe. The researcher believes that the results of this research are very useful for everyone who has a longing for the ministry of preaching the Gospel of Christ to people in the Ketengban Tribe in order to reach new souls for God and teach spiritual qualities to people in the Ketengban Tribe. So that services can be carried out effectively and efficiently at the service location.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penginjilan di suku Ketenban, yang terletak di daerah terpencil, dengan fokus pada pengembangan metode yang kontekstual dan sensitif terhadap budaya lokal. Suku Ketenban menghadapi tantangan dalam aksesibilitas terhadap pelayanan spiritual dan sosial, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan yang holistik dan inklusif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat. Metode penginjilan yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi terbukti efektif dalam menjangkau masyarakat yang sulit diakses. Selain itu, penginjilan yang mempertimbangkan nilai-nilai dan tradisi lokal, serta melibatkan tokoh masyarakat, dapat meningkatkan penerimaan ajaran agama. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya integrasi aspek sosial, seperti program kesehatan dan pemberdayaan ekonomi, untuk memberikan dampak yang lebih signifikan. Keterlibatan generasi muda melalui kegiatan kreatif, seperti seni dan musik, diharapkan dapat memperkuat iman dan identitas komunitas. Pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi pelayan gereja dalam keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman budaya lokal sangat penting untuk efektivitas penginjilan. Evaluasi dan umpan balik dari masyarakat juga menjadi aspek krusial dalam menyesuaikan metode penginjilan agar tetap relevan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menekankan bahwa pengembangan metode penginjilan yang relevan di suku Ketenban memerlukan pendekatan yang menyeluruh dan responsif terhadap konteks lokal, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan pertumbuhan iman masyarakat.

Abstract

This article explores updates and challenges in the development of the teaching profession, focusing on a case study at Okmin University. Emphasis is placed on updates in teaching methods, educational technology, and modern academic demands. The study delves into the positive impacts of innovations in teaching, including technology integration, and curriculum adjustments to cater to the needs of contemporary students. Additionally, the updates encompass professional development strategies for educators through training and interdisciplinary collaboration. Simultaneously, the article highlights the challenges faced by faculty members, such as increasing workloads, demanding research expectations, and adaptation to the changing dynamics of the educational environment. Discussion on institutional support and policies that facilitate faculty development is also a critical focus in addressing these challenges. In conclusion, the evolution of the teaching profession must be accompanied by strategies to overcome challenges, enabling educators to contribute maximally to shaping a high-quality next generation while supporting the sustainability of their professional development.

Abstract
