<![CDATA[AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran ARIAS pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri Candi III Perbutan Katongan Nglipar pada tahun ajaran 2015/2016.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri Candi III dengan jumlah siswa 22. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) dengan melalui empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah model pembelajaran ARIAS. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisi data dilakukan dengan deskripif dengan mean (rata-rata) untuk menentukan rata-rata nilai dan persentase ketuntasan siswa dan persentase ketuntasan keseluruhan siswa guna menentukan keberhasilan pencapaian ketuntasan belajar siswa.Hasil penelitian dari penerapan model pembelajaran ARIAS pada mata pelajatran IPS kelas III SD N Candi III dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata kelas mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari hasil pra siklus sebesar 66,72 pada siklus I rata-rata kelas naik menjadi 69,54 dan pada siklus II naik menjadi 77,72. Pada pra siklus persentase ketuntasan keseluruhan siswa sebesar 18% atau 4 dari 22 siswa. Pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan keseluruhan siswa meningkat menjadi 50 atau 11 dari 22 siswa, kemudian pada siklus II meningkat kembali menjadi 86% atau 19 dari 22 siswa. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar IPS mulai tahap pra siklus, Siklus I dan Siklus II. Dengan demikian penggunaan model pembelajaran ARIAS dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas III SD N Candi III.Kata Kunci: Prestasi Belajar IPS, Model Pembelajaran ARIASAbstractThis research aim to determine the effort to improve the social subject achievement by using Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assesment, Satisfaction (ARIAS) model at the third-grade students of Candi III Elementary School, Perbutan, Katongan, Nglipar in the Academic Year 2014/2015.The Research was conducted at the third-grade students of Candi III Elementary School with the number of students are 22. This research is a classroom action research with four phases: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The learning models used ARIAS learning model. Data collection technique used observation, interview, field notes, test and documentation. Descriptive data analysis is done by the average and the percentage of the overall student mastery.The results of the application of the learning models ARIAS in social studies at the thrid-grade students can be concluded that there is an increasing of student achievement. This increasing can be seen from the average score of the class has risen from the result of pre-cycle of 66,72 in the first cycle class average rised to 69,54 and the second cycle increased to 77,72. In the pre-cycle completeness student’s overall percentage of 18% or 4 out of 22 students. In the frist cycle the percentage of the overall completeness of student increases to 50% or 11 out of 22 students, then on the second cycle increased to 86% or 19 out of 22 students. Based on these descriptions, it can be concluded that the increasing in learning achievement of social studies began in the pre-cycle, in the first cycle and in the second cycle.
