Abstract

Child development during the elementary school period includes various aspects, such as cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language. language. Although each child develops in a unique way, there are some common some common developments that can be identified in children aged 6 to 12 years. years. On the physical aspect, children experience rapid body growth, and the development of fine and gross motor skills. The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply the developmental characteristics of children during the elementary school period. This research uses the literature study method (library research). The development of primary school-age children (6-12 years old) includes three main aspects motor, cognitive, and socio-emotional aspects. In the motor aspect, children physical coordination, both fine and gross motor, which supports learning activities. support learning activities. In the cognitive aspect, children's thinking ability develop from the imaginative stage to a concrete and rational mindset, enabling them to complete intellectual tasks effectively. Meanwhile, in the socio-emotional aspect, children begin to build independence from the family, strengthening relationships with friends and family from the family, strengthen relationships with peers, and develop self-concept and self-confidence. self-concept and self-confidence. The social environment plays an important role in the formation of character and behavior. A thorough understanding of these developmental characteristics is necessary for teachers to apply the right approach to education in order to support children's optimal development in various aspects.

Abstract

Standar pendidikan nasional mewajibkan kurikulum mencakup pendidikan agama dan budi pekerti, yang didukung oleh Keputusan Menteri Agama No. 183 tahun 2019. Di SMP Sains Quran AlIrsyad Jember, program Terapi Iman dirancang untuk mengembangkan siswa menjadi pemimpin yang bertanggung jawab dan mulia dengan mengintegrasikan nilai nilai kepemimpinan Islam dan prinsip AlQuran. Penelitian mengenai program ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala kurikulum, guru, dan OSIS sebagai subjek. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengumpulan, penyajian, dan kondensasi data, dengan keabsahan diuji menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Program Terapi Iman bertujuan melatih calon pemimpin sejak masa sekolah dengan dukungan kepala sekolah. Program ini menumbuhkan jiwa kepemimpinan siswa melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti OSIS, Pramuka, PMR, Paskibra, dan pelatihan yang diselenggarakan oleh yayasan. Setiap Agustus, evaluasi dampak program dilakukan untuk mengukur perkembangan siswa. Hasil penelitian Program yang diharapkan dapat menjadi model pendidikan kepemimpinan Islam yang efektif, mempersiapkan generasi pemimpin yang percaya diri, bertanggung jawab, dan memiliki integritas tinggi, sesuai dengan cita cita pendidikan nasional dan prinsip prinsip Islam.

Abstract

This article discusses the basic concepts of education quality as an effort to comprehensively understand how quality principles are applied in various educational contexts, both general and religious. This study focuses on a conceptual analysis of the meaning, principles, and strategies for improving education quality based on relevant literature. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method involving analysis of 26 scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025. These articles were obtained through Google Scholar and Publish or Perish using the keywords “education quality management,” “basic concepts of quality,” and “school quality improvement.” After screening and selection, five main articles were analyzed in depth to identify themes and interrelationships between concepts. The results of the study show that the concept of quality covers aspects of planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation that are oriented towards the satisfaction of education customers—namely students, parents, and the community. The Total Quality Management (Hasnadi, 2021) and School-Based Management (Junindra et al., 2022) approaches have proven to be effective in creating a sustainable culture of quality. In addition, the integration of spiritual values and Kaizen principles (Latif & Sesmiarni, 2024; Zulkarnain, 2023) enriches the ethical dimension of educational quality management.
