Abstract

Skin problems, especially on the face, are often considered to diminish appearance and require significant expense. However, caring for the face with natural ingredients is safer because they are free of chemicals. The natural ingredient in question is papaya seeds, which contain the enzyme papain, which can prevent wrinkles, minimize pores, and moisturize the skin. Besides being a food ingredient, black sticky rice can also benefit skin beauty by slowing premature aging, thanks to its high antioxidant and anthocyanin content, vitamin E, and fiber. This study aims to determine the physical properties of papaya seed and black sticky rice masks, including color, aroma, texture, and panelist preferences. This is an experimental study with papaya seed and black sticky rice masks as the subjects. This quantitative study used experimental methods. Data collection methods included observation and panelist preferences for color, aroma, texture, and adhesive power. Two cosmetology and beauty lecturers, along with 10 female students from the University of North Sumatra (UNP), studied the color, aroma, texture, and adhesiveness of the masks. The results of the study showed that using a papaya seed and black sticky rice mask effectively treated dry skin. The skin exhibited a gray color from the mixture of papaya seed powder and black sticky rice, a fragrant and pleasant aroma, a very smooth texture, and good elasticity, feeling firm and supple.

Abstract

Kosmetik ialah bagian dari style hidup seorang. Penampilan yang nampak menawan serta modis dapat didapatkan dengan bermacam berbagai metode, salah satunya dengan pemakaian kosmetik. Uraian kalangan hawa terhadap izin BPOM ini sangat berarti. Bersumber pada informasi tahun 2018, BPOM RI paling tidak sudah menyita kosmetik ilegal senilai Rp106, 9 miliyar. Perihal tersebut membuktikan tingginya angka penemuan kosmetik ilegal yang terjalin secara masif di segala Indonesia. Riset ini bertujuan buat menganalisis komposisi serta khasiat fungsional dari bedak padat yang terdaftar di BPOM. Tata cara riset yang digunakan merupakan memakai tata cara riset kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan informasi ialah riset literatur. Riset literatur ataupun riset kepustakaan (Library Research) ataupun kerap diketahui dengan studi kepustakaan ialah tipe dari riset yang bermanfaat dalam penulusuran harian, novel, postingan, serta bermacam perihal yang berkaitan dengan topik yang diteliti. Jadi penulis tiba ke toko Miss Glam Damar serta Miss Glam Gunung Pangilun buat melaksanakan pengamatan terhadap komposisi serta khasiat yang ada pada kemasan dari sebagian brand bedak padat yang terdapat di kedua toko tersebut. Ilustrasi dalam riset ini merupakan sebagian bedak padat (Wardah, La Tullipe, Implora, Pixy serta Pigeon). Pengumpulan informasi lewat observasi, riset literatur serta dokumentasi. Analisis terhadap informasi lewat Informasi Collection, Informasi Reduction, Informasi Display serta Conclusion Drawing. Hasil riset menampilkan kalau bedak padat yang terdaftar di BPOM mempunyai alterasi komposisi yang signifikan, tercantum talc, serbuk mineral, bahan pengikat, pelembab, dan pewangi serta perona. Komposisi ini tidak cuma membagikan tekstur halus serta ringan, namun pula meresap minyak, membagikan hasil akhir matte, melindungi kelembaban kulit, serta tingkatkan energi tarik produk lewat aroma serta warna. Bahan- bahan tersebut pula sudah penuhi standar keamanan serta mutu yang diresmikan BPOM. Bersumber pada penemuan ini, dianjurkan supaya konsumen memilah bedak padat yang cocok dengan tipe kulit mereka serta mencermati komposisi bahan yang tertera pada kemasan buat memperoleh khasiat maksimal.
