Abstract

The purpose of this study to know how the influence of social cognition on problem-solving ability of service students at STID Mohammad Natsir; how the influence of self-efficacy of problem-solving ability in service students at STID Mohammad Natsir; and how the influence of social cognition and self-efficacy simultaneously on problem-solving ability of service students at STID Mohammad Natsir. This research used descriptive quantitative with survey design. The population and sample in this study are students of STID Mohammad Natsir who have served for two years in various regions in Indonesia. Data collection in this study using questionnaires. Analysis of validity test used the Pearson product moment while reliability test used Cronbach’s Alpha. Technique of data analysis used classical assumption tests (normality, linearity, multicollinearity) and multiple regression analysis (heteroscedasticity tests, partial hypothesis tests, simultaneous hypothesis tests, coefficient determination tests). The results of this study showed that social cognition had a significant influence on students' problem-solving abilities with a comparative score of t-count > t-table, 3.214 > 1.999, while the significance value was 0.02 < 0.05. The second finding, self-efficacy had a significant influence on students' problem-solving abilities with a comparative score of t-count > t-table, 4.343 > 1.999 with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. Further findings, simultaneously between the variables of social cognition and self-efficacy exerted a significant influence on problem-solving ability. It is showed by a calculated F-value greater than the F-table, score ratio is 42.469 > 3.15. Judging from the significance score 0.00 < 0.05 indicated social cognition and self-efficacy affect problem-solving ability. From the test results of the coefficient of determination with score of R-squared 0.578. So, it shows that social cognition and self-efficacy contribute simultaneously to problem-solving ability reaching 57.8%. The remaining 42.2% indicated a contribution from other variables that were not used in this study.

Abstract

Research Objective: To determine the process of implementing mosque-based community empowerment at Masjid Muslim Billionaire Cinangneng Tenjolaya, Bogor Research Methods: Qualitative. Research Results: This research shows that Muslim Billionaire Mosque has carried out community empowerment programs through three stages. First, stage of awareness and formation, programs carried out are Pasar Bahagia, Majelis Bahagia, Pondok CEO Scholarship Program, and Gerakan Gizi Santri; stages of transformation of knowledge and skills, programs carried out are Pondok CEO and Memorization is Easy; and the stage of improving intellectual abilities and skills, programs be conducted are Pondok CEO and Baitul Muamalah program. Conclusion: The results of the empowerment carried out by the Masjid Muslim Billionaire stated that with the existence of a mosque-based community empowerment program carried out by the managements of the Masjid Muslim Billionaire, so the mosque congregation, the community around the mosque, and also Muslims in generally could feel the positive impact of this activity. Abstract

This study aims to analyze implications of lifelong education on morals and human potential in Islamic views and Guthrie thought. The method carried out in this study is a literature review, which is a research approach that reviews literature both with literature studies and direct observations in the field. The results of this study show that lifelong education be a concern for many parties. When related in a wide area, Islamic conception and western scientist or philosopher give attention about the urgency of lifelong education although with different approaches. The implications that arise from lifelong education are the development and improvement of morals and the potential of human personality in accordance with its nature and essence, fostering awareness that the process of growth and development of human personality is alive and dynamic, and can increase human life expectancy. Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of community empowerment in Babakan village, Tenjo, Bogor by Community Reading Park (TBM) of Dungus Biuk Reading House (Rubadubi) through Literacy Movement. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The results of the study show that the Community Reading Park (TBM) of the Dungus Biuk Reading House (Rubadubi) Babakan Village, Tenjo District, Bogor Regency is a community reading park engaged in non-formal education and social society. There are three stages of the process of community empowerment through the literacy movement, namely: (1) The stage of awareness and behavior formation, by providing guidance and counseling through literacy activities to the community to participate in the TBM Rubadubi program. (2) The stage of the process of transforming knowledge and skills, the implementation of the TBM Rubadubi program and training skills through innovative literacy activities. (3) The stage of improving intellectual ability and proficiency, there is an increase in achievement and courage in literacy. It can be concluded that community empowerment in the object of research has been carried out effectively through services, facilities, guidance, and activity programs that have been provided. This can be seen from the condition of the community before TBM Rubadubi, children tend not to continue their junior high school/high school education because they choose to work, after TBM Rubadubi and children participate in activity programs to increase insight and knowledge so that they are aware of the importance of education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Community Satisfaction Index (CSI) on Students’ Da’wah Practicum Program at Cipayung, Jakarta Timur. This program is conducted by STID Mohammad Natsir in partnership with Taman Pendidikan AL Qur’an (TPA in Cipayung, Jakarta Timur. The research approach used descriptive quantitative. The results of the study showed that the average score of community satisfaction with the assistance carried out by STID Mohammad Natsir students in Da’wah Practicum Program was good with a scale of 3.975 and a conversion score of 79.506. The indicator of satisfaction is seen from five aspects, namely tangibles, an average score of 4.296 equivalent to 85.913 is at a very good level; empathy was  3.775 equivalent to  75.507 and was good; Reliability indicator had  an average score of 3.832 equivalent to  76.630 and  was good; responsiveness  indicator had an average score of 3.887 equivalent to  77.739 and was good; the last, assurance  indicator had an average score of 4.087 equivalent to  81.739 and was good level. From the score of the five aspects, the Community Satisfaction Index (CSI) score was 78.98, with a scale conversion of 3.949. From these results, it is concluded that student assistance in Da’wah Practicum Program received a good response from the community. This already good response needs to be improved so that the level of satisfaction of partner institutions will continue to rise.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh komunikasi persuasif Ustadzah Fatimah terhadap motivasi belajar membaca Al-Quran para jemaah Majelis Taklim Kukuh Farhanah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekataan kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil uji regresi menolak Ho dan menerima Ha, artinya terdapat pengaruh komunikasi persuasif Ustadzah Fatimah terhadap motivasi belajar membaca Al-Quran jemaah Majelis Taklim Kukuh Farhanah. Pernyataan tersebut diambil berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis pada hasil (uji t) yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari probabilitas yang ditetapkan yaitu 0,00 < 0,05, dan nilai t-hitung sebesar 4,949 > t-tabel sebesar 1,683. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dengan nilai pengaruh yang diperoleh dari hasil uji koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,374. Ini menunjukkan bahwasannya variabel X (komunikasi persuasif telah memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel Y (motivasi belajar) sebesar 37,4%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa komunikasi persuasif Ustadzah Fatimah memberikan konstribusi pengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar membaca Al-Quran para jemaah Majelis Taklim Kukuh Farhanah sebesar sebesar 37,4%, sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci : komunikasi; persuasif; motivasi.
