Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of flipbook media in teaching short story writing in class XI SMA Negeri 16 Semarang. The problem in this study is that there is no use of instructional media to construct short story texts in class XI students. Therefore, researchers try to apply flipbook media, especially in learning to compose short story texts. The article that the researcher wrote is a conceptual article. Conceptual article contains ideas In this article data is obtained by direct observation in class. While writing this article is done by identifying and seeking information from relevant data, analyzing the results, then developing and conveying ideas based on the researcher's understanding. Learning outcomes are expected to be more optimal with the use of learning media that is not boring for students. The solution that can be used with these problems is the use of flipbook media. The use of flipbook learning media is expected to be able to overcome the difficulties experienced by students in learning to write short story texts and students are not easily bored in participating in learning.

Abstract

Along with the times, the use of interactive learning media technology is needed to increase learning motivation. Students will be more interested in the new learning process. This is shown through the active involvement of students in the learning process. This study aims to describe the implementation of Canva media in learning Indonesian personal and official letter texts to Students of SMPN 34 Semarang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Qualitative descriptive method is a method whose research data is in the form of descriptive notes. The data collection technique in this study is through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by means of data reduction and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of Canva media in learning Indonesian personal and official letter texts to SMPN 34 Semarang students could be concluded that students' learning motivation increased after using Canva learning media. There were 26 students with a percentage of 85% who said Canva's learning media was very useful and 4 students with a percentage of 15% said it was useful. So it can be concluded that the use of Canva media is very useful in increasing learning motivation in achieving the learning objectives of Indonesian personal and official letter texts. This is shown through students being actively involved and cooperative in the learning process. In addition, students are able to produce written products in the form of personal and official letters through Canva media.

Abstract

Along with the development of science and technology is very influential in one's life. In the world of education, learning technology has a positive impact, including students being given the flexibility to access information sources from social media. In addition, along with the development of technology that is happening as it is today. Educators are expected to be able to provide fun learning by providing learning media that suit the needs of students, educators can also utilize applications such as power point, YouTube, or other e-learning as learning media. The goal is to create a fun interactive learning atmosphere, using Quizizz can also increase interest and motivation in learning and make it easier for educators to give quizzes or material to students. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, related to data collection, researchers use several techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained by students are also mostly above the KKM, so this Quizizz learning media is very suitable to be used as practice questions which are carried out not only in face-to-face learning, but online learning can also be done. Because, with the unlimited space and time given which requires that work be done at that time it also makes it very flexible and efficient because it does not require paper and writing instruments so that the collection is in accordance with the needs and agreements that have been made between students and educators.
