Abstract

Today, skin health is the main focus for women and men who want healthy, well-groomed and clean facial skin. The use of chemicals and other external materials allows potential disease for facial skin health. Diseases caused on the face are quite diverse from small to medium scale. The problem that often occurs in the community is the lack of knowledge and limited sources of information about facial skin health causing people to tend to let the disease happen. Based on the problems that have been described previously, this expert system was created to help the public understand the symptoms of facial skin diseases experienced and solutions to overcome these diseases. In the development of this expert system using the forward chaining method as the inference engine and the certainty factor method to determine the diagnostic confidence value. In designing this expert system application the user can choose the symptoms of facial skin diseases, then the output produced is the level of confidence, the possibility of the disease experienced and an explanation of the solution for the initial treatment of the facial skin disease. From the test results based on the Black Box, the results obtained 100% functionality runs according to the list of system requirements. In the accuracy test, a very good accuracy value is obtained, which is 100% of the 10 existing sample data.

Abstract

The teacher-centered learning system results in students being less active in the learning process, which negatively impacts their writing skills. Therefore, a more innovative and engaging teaching method is required to enhance students' motivation to learn. This study aims to improve students' ability to write explanatory texts using Hijaiyah letters through the implementation of a word game-based learning method. The research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on the Kemmis & McTaggart model, which consists of four stages in each cycle: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were second-grade students at UPTD SPF SD Negeri Tanah Bara, with data collected through observation, writing tests, and documentation of students’ written work. The findings indicate that the application of the word game-based method using Hijaiyah letters significantly enhances students’ ability to write explanatory texts. This improvement is evidenced by the increase in the number of students achieving the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) score to over 75%. Additionally, students became more active and enthusiastic during the learning process. In conclusion, the word game-based method using Hijaiyah letters can serve as an effective strategy for enhancing students' writing skills. Furthermore, it can be considered an alternative approach to language and literacy instruction at the elementary school level. [Sistem pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif dalam proses belajar, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya keterampilan menulis mereka. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan menarik agar siswa lebih termotivasi untuk belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks eksplanasi berbasis huruf Hijaiyah melalui penerapan metode permainan kata. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis & McTaggart yang terdiri dari empat tahap dalam setiap siklus: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II UPTD SPF SD Negeri Tanah Bara, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, tes menulis, dan dokumentasi hasil tulisan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode permainan kata berbasis huruf Hijaiyah secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks eksplanasi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) hingga lebih dari 75%. Selain itu, siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode permainan kata berbasis huruf Hijaiyah dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa, serta dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan literasi di tingkat sekolah dasar].
