Abstract

This study aims to determine how the positive and negative impacts of using the Tiktok application on interest and achievement in PAI learning on students at SMAN 1 Langsa and to find out how to increase interest and achievement in PAI learning on students at SMAN 1 Langsa. Interest in learning, especially in PAI subjects, is very important. If children experience dependence on the Tiktok application, this will affect interest in learning so that it reduces study time and student achievement will decrease because the concentration of learning in children is reduced. In using the Tiktok application, it is also not good if done continuously. If done continuously, it will result in someone being addicted to using the Tiktok application, so that interest and learning achievement in students decreases. This research is a type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation methods. While data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that between the positive impact and the negative impact of using the Tiktok application, there were more negative impacts, the positive impact was only to fill students' boredom and the negative impact resulted in students not concentrating on learning, lack of interest in learning religion, and students' learning achievement decreased, students use their cellphones more to use the Tiktok application every day for at least 4 hours each time using the application so that students do not read books, do not do the homework given by the teacher and the teacher explains the lesson students are sleepy because they stay up late using the Tiktok application until late at night.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that in PAI learning teachers still do not maximize the use of methods, students' interest in learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects is still low. This research aims to find out how to increase students' interest in learning using the chain whisper game method on the material on faith in Qada and Qadar class VII.I MTs MIM Langsa. This research is classroom action research (PTK), this classroom action research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this research were class VII.I students at MTs MIM Langsa. The data collection technique is in the form of data from observations of students' learning interest during the learning process using the chain whisper game method, the use of tests for student learning outcomes and also documentation. The results of this research indicate that there is an increase in students' interest in learning. This is proven by the results of observations that there was an increase in student interest seen in the pre-cycle, with an average of 31.24%. Then there was an increase in cycle I, namely 57.30%, then there was another increase in cycle II, namely 93.05%. Furthermore, the increase in student learning outcomes was proven by the sum of the pre-cycle scores of 12 students, only 1 student achieved kkm with a score percentage of 27%%. The increase occurred in cycle I with 8 students completing and getting a percentage score of 75%. Results continued to increase in cycle II by 85% with 15 students completing.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) develop Moral Card Media in PAI learning for class VIII students at SMPN 1 Rantau Selamat, East Aceh Regency. The results of this development are feasible and good to use, (2) To determine the level of feasibility and practicality of this Moral Card media in PAI learning at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat, East Aceh Regency. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and the model used in the Moral Card media development process uses the ADDIE development model through 5 stages including (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, ( 5) Evaluation. The subjects of this research include lecturers who are media experts and material experts, as well as class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat and also PAI subject teachers. The research object is moral cards in PAI learning. The instruments used to assess the suitability of the moral card include an assessment sheet for the suitability of material experts and media experts, and a practicality assessment sheet in the form of a questionnaire on PAI student and teacher responses to the moral card. Feasibility testing was carried out by two teams of experts, namely, media experts and material experts, the results were tested for practicality on class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat. The results of the feasibility study showed that the media expert validation was 93%, the material expert was 89.47%, and the practicality test on class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat got an average of 86.18%, and the teacher response was 95%. Therefore, this research succeeded in developing learning media in the form of digital-based Moral Cards in PAI learning in the material CHAPTER 7 Believing in the Prophets and Apostles of Allah to be a Digital Generation with Character that is suitable and practical to use as independent teaching material for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat.
