Abstract

In carrying out his position, a Notary can hold other positions, one of which is as an Auction Officer at the Notary's place of residence. The Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) provides the definition of auction, namely sales in front of a large number of people led by an auction official. In an auction, of course, there is an auction limit value which is defined as the minimum value of the goods to be auctioned. Determining the auction limit value is carried out by a third party who is not the creditor. This research provides a better understanding of the limit value in auctions which is the basis for carrying out the auction process. Keywords: Auction, Auction Limit Value, Auction Official,
