Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the meaning of application-based learning media during the pandemic and to be able to provide new innovations to the community in creating the RUBIK application as a learning tool, especially Indonesian language subjects. The method in this study uses a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire conducted by researchers in order to know the respondents' assessment of the RUBIK application in learning. The results of this study indicate that the RUBIK application has meaning in learning and this application is considered by the respondents to be quite attractive, efficient and effective when applied in the learning process. The only drawback in this research is that the learning is one-way. In addition, this application also has obstacles such as the type of smartphone that does not support installing the RUBIK application. And the full memory on the respondent's cellphone hinders the learning process using this RUBIK application.

Abstract

The aim of the researcher in this study is to describe the connotative meaning contained in Chairil Anwar's poem entitled "Cintaku Far Di Pulau" so that the message contained in the poem can be conveyed properly according to the poet's expectations. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method which basically collects data in the form of words or sentences from a text by conducting subjective research. The data collection technique in this research is the note-taking technique because the researcher must first listen to the poem and then record the data contained in the object of research. The result of this research is that there is a connotative meaning contained in the poem "Cintaku Far Di Pulau" by Chairil Anwar along with the value of taste contained in the poem. The data obtained are 15 connotative meaning data, including 14 words and sentences containing positive sense values and 1 connotative meaning data containing negative taste values.

Abstract

In every society, it is not strange for us to find the existence of different levels of social class or social position. Starting from the existence of class differences in society, an idea emerged, namely social stratification. Social stratification takes many forms. However, the researcher chose social stratification based on the class level in the society, criteria of honor, economy, and position or status in the society. The researcher proves the forms of social stratification through dialogue contained in the drama script of Nyonya-nyonya. The purpose of this study is to describe the social stratification depicted in Wisran Hadi's drama Nyonya-Nyonya. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method with a notetaking technique. The results of the analysis prove that every character in the drama script of Nyonya-Nyonya contains forms of social stratification which are depicted through dialogue. The data in this study are 11 data, including the form of social stratification for upper class, middle class, upper class with honor criteria, as well as aspects of ascribed status and achieved status.
