Abstract

This research is motivated by the presentation of media in print which is still considered less interesting, because it tends to be boring in learning. For this reason, new breakthroughs are needed in presenting material with interesting summaries. This research and development uses research and development (R&D) research methods using the ADDIE model. As a result of this research and development, the researcher concluded that interactive learning media based on Adobe Animation can improve science learning outcomes for class V at MI Modern Mutiara Iman Ngunut Tulungagung. The research results showed that interactive media was declared feasible by experts with an average score of 92%. The use of interactive media received a positive response from teachers, getting 84% and a positive response from students getting 91%. The media was effectively used by students with the results of an increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores of 88%. Thus, interactive media based on Adobe Animation is declared feasible, practical and effective for use as interactive learning media in class V science studies learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

In the context of Physical Education learning, objective and reliable speed assessment is essential not only for measuring students’ physical abilities but also for informing instructional strategies, individualized feedback, and fair evaluation of learning outcomes. The absence of standardized and objective measurement tools can hinder teachers’ ability to monitor student progress, design appropriate learning interventions, and motivate students effectively. From the background above, the following problem formulations can be taken: 1) What is the range of sports speed norms for students?, 2) What is the development model for sprint speed information hardware software (SHICEPATS) for tests and evaluations of state Islamic higher education students based on ESP8266 wireless?, 3) What is the feasibility of sprint speed information hardware software (SHICEPATS)?. The process that must be passed through in research and development by Borg and Gall.  Feedback from the sports science validator highlighted several weaknesses in SHICEPATS, prompting important product improvements. One key suggestion was the creation of a comprehensive user manual to guide users through the device's operation. Based on input from IT experts regarding the control unit box, the researchers redesigned it to ensure a unique and distinctive appearance that distinguishes. The results of the small group trial showed that 38.10% were still unable to perform digital sprint tests and measurements because the operational method was not yet user friendly and there were still many displays that were confusing. The use of SHICEPATS in the large group trial has improved, the level of ease of performing measurement tests and reading results was 83.21%. In general, the level of ease of SHICEPATS design and ease of carrying was 91.97%, these results indicate that users find it much easier to process and understand the data generated by the device. The system is designed to calculate sprint speed using two strategically placed sensors.

Abstract

When Artificial Intelligence (AI) was incorporated into higher education, there was a major change. However, AI's influence on critical thinking remains an important issue for teachers. This study uses a quantitative survey design to explore the role of AI in developing critical thinking skills. The sample for this study comprised 10 fifth-semester students from the English Language Studies Study Program at IAIN Curup who followed the STEM education path. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire instrument with a 5-point Likert scale, validated to measure the frequency of AI use and critical thinking indicators. The findings show diversity in students' perceptions of AI's effectiveness in supporting their cognitive processes. From the descriptive findings, it has been revealed that 30 percent of the respondents strongly agreed and another 20 percent agreed with the proposition stating that the use of artificial intelligence increases efficiency in learning and processing information. However, there are also plenty of doubts: 30 percent of respondents were unsure about this issue, while 20 percent disagreed. This suggests a risk of dependence that may interfere with critical thinking and rational judgment when technology is used improperly. It is important to note that the results of the current study cannot be generalized due to the limited sample size.
