Abstract

ABSTRACTHuman development is an important indicator of a country's economy. The high quality of human beings can encourage the economy in a region to move in a better direction. Although the level of human development increases every year from 2010 to 2021, this has not been able to pump up economic growth in Kediri Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of the health index, education index, and purchasing power index on economic growth in the Kediri Regency. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Kediri Regency. The analytical method used is the multiple linear regression analysis methods. Based on the results of data processing, it was found that the health index, education index, and public purchasing power index had a simultaneous and significant effect on economic growth in Kediri Regency, while the partial test results showed that the education index and public purchasing power index had a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while the health has no significant effect on the economic growth of Kediri Regency. The positive relationship that occurs between human development and economic growth proves that the policy of equitable distribution of human development needs to be an important concern for the government. Keywords: Human Development Index, Economic Growth

Abstract

This journal discusses a number of key aspects regarding the role of microinsurance in driving industry development. First, microinsurance provides financial protection to micro and small businesses, which are often the backbone of the industrial sector in Indonesia. This protection helps reduce the risks associated with business failures and losses due to disasters or other unforeseen events. Second, microinsurance encourages investment and innovation in industrial sectors by providing a sense of security to entrepreneurs. This can accelerate the growth and diversification of domestic industries, which in turn can create jobs and increase productivity.Overall, this journal concludes that microinsurance has a significant role in supporting industrial development in Indonesia. By providing protection and financial support to micro and small businesses, microinsurance has the potential to become a driver of sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the country. However, collaborative efforts from the government, financial institutions and the private sector are still urgently needed to maximize the benefits of microinsurance for the development of Indonesian industry.

Abstract

Equitable village development is one of the main focuses in achieving inclusive and sustainable national development goals. The Village Development Index (IDM) as a measuring tool for village development used by the Indonesian government is an important indicator in seeing the progress of village development. This studyiiiaims to analyze the effect of education, regional spending, and infrastructure variables on increasing IDM in the Mataraman area, East Java Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques using the eviews 12 application. The data used are secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Villages, Development ofiiDisadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendesa PDTT) in 2018-2022. The results of the study show that education and regional spending have a positive andiisignificant effect on IDM, while infrastructure does not have a significant effect. This study implies that village development policies need to emphasize increasing access to education, regional spending and basic infrastructure to encourage sustainable village development.
