Abstract

The use of scaffolding as a tool in the implementation of concrete casting in reinforced concrete structure buildings requires precise analysis and calculations so that in the implementation it can avoid failures in the implementation of structures and in preventing work accidents that can result in fatalities. Determination of the dimensions of the scaffolding that are safe on the structure, the right scaffolding model for safe implementation and knowing the location of the large stress on the scaffolding. The research method is carried out by adjusting the data to the dimensions of the Hopper structure, the parameters used according to the loading regulations and the analysis of the structure. Standard scaffolding used in the field module 1.2 m x 1.2 m is safe against design loading. The use of double bracing is highly recommended and the pipe size used is 76 mm in diameter.

Abstract

Vibrations in certain building floor plate systems are excitations that arise from rhythmic human activities such as running, dancing and aerobic movements. The term “frequency content” refers to the number of modes across the floor system frequencies. The first natural frequency (fn), also referred to as the fundamental natural frequency, is used for floor vibrations for design purposes. In terms of fundamental natural frequencies, humans are more sensitive to low frequency vibrations than high frequencies. In response to floor vibrations, the human sensitive range is usually between 4 and 8 HZ. Analysis found that the stair floor plate structure with D10-150 floor reinforcement could withstand the design load. The cause of very pronounced vibrations on the stairs is caused by the natural vibration frequency on the stair plate < 8Hz. The selection of reinforcement for the stair floor plate is carried out in the middle of the floor plate span. After recalculating, the additional stiffness of the floor plate produces a vibration frequency of > 8Hz, so that the vibrations are no longer disturbing.

Abstract

Differential settlements of foundations in buildings often results in building damage. The first damage appears on the architectural part and then as the difference in settlement increases, it will start to attack the structural part. This increase certainly results in harm to building users. Buildings that use shallow foundations can generally be divided into causes based on soil parameters, soil load on the foundation and the cross-sectional shape of the foundation. Shallow foundations according to Terzaghi, the soil parameters that influence them are the coefficient of cohesion and friction angle plus the specific gravity of the soil which supports the load coming from the building. The foundation cross-section factor is influenced by the depth and width of the cross-section whether it is square, round or continuous. The oblique crack pattern that occurs in the building walls is an indication of differences in settlement in the foundation. This research was carried out by carrying out crack patterns that indicate foundation settlement, analyzing the causes of foundation settlement, and carrying out calculation analysis to determine the strengthening method. The method is carried out by collecting data on the dimensions of the building structure and compiling the parameters used according to loading regulations. The decline was caused by new embankments which were directly loaded and primary consolidation had not been completed, low soil bearing capacity in the surface layer, additional load from the design load.

Abstract

The assessment was carried out to determine the condition of the ex-Jl Brigjen Katamso Sibolga building. The purpose of this assessment is to determine the condition of the existing structure so that it can be considered for development plans for the building. The characteristics of buildings in strong earthquake areas must really pay attention to the effects of earthquakes on buildings. Matters related to the above show the ability of existing buildings to carry design loads which are linked to the dimensions of the building in carrying loads on the structure that occur in various combinations specified in the Indonesian National Standards. Therefore, an in-depth analysis is needed carefully and of course following the applicable building codes. The analysis is carried out using special program tools to calculate the structure. The building can be raised by 2 (two) levels by strengthening the structural parts that have been calculated using Sanspro, namely the pile cap and columns, and reducing additional dead loads such as walls.
