Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the use of technology in the short story 'Gelang Kak Nenda' by Liza Erfiana, particularly focusing on the smart bracelet. This research employs a hermeneutical approach to explore the impact and meaning of technology in a literary context. Data collection involves an analysis of various technological aspects presented by the smart bracelet, including a projector, software, mobile phone, and the integrated screen. The analytical process provides in-depth insights into how the smart bracelet can be integrated into the literary narrative, creating new dimensions in understanding the development of technology in literature. The research findings depict the significant role of the smart bracelet in enriching the story, highlighting the complex interaction between characters and technology. Thus, this study contributes to our understanding of how wearable technology can influence and shape narrative storytelling. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melhat penggunaan teknologi dalam karya sastra cerpen Gelang Kak Nenda karya Liza Erfiana, khususnya gelang pintar. Metode penelitian ini menggunaan pendekatan hermeneutika untuk mengekplorasi makna dampak penggunaan teknologi dalam konteks satra. Teknik pengumpulan data meliatkan analisis terhadap berbagai aspek teknologi yang dihadirkan oleh gelang pintar, termasuk proyektor, perangkat lunak, ponsel, dan layar ponsel yang terintegrasikan dalam perangkat tersebut. Proses analisis memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang bagaimana gelang pintar dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam narasi sastra, menciptakan dimensi baru dalam pemahaman perekembangan teknologi dalam karya sastra. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan peran signifikan gelang pintar dalam memperkaya cerita, menyoroti interaksi kompleks anatara karakter dan teknologi, Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan konstribusi pada pemahaman kita tentang bagaimana teknologi wearable dapat mempengaruhi dan membentuk naratif cerita.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has increased various societal needs, especially in the e-commerce sector, including the delivery service of K-pop merchandise. The global popularity of K-pop has led to high demand for related merchandise such as albums, lightsticks, and exclusive clothing and accessories, often difficult to source internationally. This demand creates challenges for businesses in managing product data, inventory, and transactions effectively. Zena.id, as a business providing K-pop merchandise delivery services, faces specific issues with ensuring accurate transaction recording and real-time inventory monitoring. An efficient system is needed to reduce human error, prevent inventory discrepancies, and meet customer expectations for product availability. This research aims to develop an Android-based application to automate transaction recording and inventory monitoring at Zena.id. The application is designed to improve operational efficiency through an integrated system for accurate stock monitoring and transaction processing. Developed using the Kotlin programming language and an Agile approach, this method allows for flexible, iterative improvements. Testing results showed a 83.33% accuracy rate in transaction processing and inventory updates, significantly simplifying management tasks and reducing potential errors. Additionally, the user-friendly interface enhances satisfaction for both business managers and customers. This application serves as an optimal solution to address the unique challenges faced by K-pop merchandise delivery services in the digital era.
