Abstract

The purpose of this research aimed to find out the challenges in designing lesson plan faced by English Teacher. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, the subject of this research were two English teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Takalar who taugh at seven grade for 2022 prototype curriculum. The result of this research showed that there were five challenges faced by English teachers, students' condition, learning method, learning scenario, learning media and assessment. 1) student condition 2) Learning 3) Learning scenario : the teachers sometimes easily forget some steps in leaning activities because age. 4) Learning media 5) Assesment.
