Abstract

Buku bergambar dapat digunakan sebagai media dalam menumbuhkan literasi baca tulis siswa, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1). Mengetahui penggunaan buku bergambar dalam menumbuhkan literasi baca tulis siswa, (2). Faktor penghambat literasi baca tulis siswa, (3). Upaya guru untuk mengatasi rendahnya literasi baca tulis siswa. Metode yang dipakai dalam Penelitian ini metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian ini informasi tentang penggunaan buku bergambar dalam pembelajaran kelas 8.1 menumbuhkan literasi baca tulis. Sumber data penelitian ini hasil kuisioner siswa  kelas 8.1 yang berjumlah 32 orang, dan wawancara 1 orang staf  perpustakaan SMP Negeri 14 Kota Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, teknik kuisioner, dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan buku bergambar dinilai efektif dalam menumbuhkan literasi baca tulis siswa di SMP Negeri 14 Kota.Keywords: Application, Picture book, Read Write Students

Abstract

The problem in this researchis the Moral and Motivational Messages contained in the characters of the novel Janji Untuk Ayah by Nuranala. The purpose of this research, namely: To get a precise description, detailed and in-depth description of the categories of moral and motivational messages contained in the characters of the novel Janji Untuk Ayah by Nurunala. For Father by Nurunala. The benefits of research are divided into two, namely theoretical benefits, namely, the results of this study are expected to be used as a review for understand the categories and aspects of moral messages in Nurunala's Janji Untuk Ayah and contribute to the development of literary works. development of literary works and practical benefits, namely, for readers, for students, and for further researchers. students, and for further researchers. The data in this research is in the form of quotations that contain moral message categories and motivational aspects contained in the characters in the novel Janji Untuk Ayah by Nurunala. The data collection technique of this research is library study technique. While the motivation aspect is found to be motivated to act.
