Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore the aspects of i'jaz lughawi from the perspective of exegetes, especially through the study conducted by Ibn Ashur. I'jaz lughawi refers to the linguistic excellence embedded in Qur'ānic verses, which is considered proof of the Qur'ān's divinity. It involves an in-depth analysis of the Qur'ānic language structure, including word choice, syntax and rhetoric, and its impact on understanding and interpretation. In addition, the study also pays attention to the contribution of the study of balagha in understanding the richness of the Qur'anic language, especially in highlighting the beauty of language, rhetorical style, and the peculiarities of unique language structures. The research method used is qualitative-descriptive with a library analysis approach, in which Ibn Ashur to describe and analyze his views on lughawi i'jaz. The findings of this study are linguistic wonders (I'jaz Lughawi) in the Qur'an through the lens of Ibn Ashur's view. By combining the study of balaghah science with the interpretation of the Qur'an. With an in-depth analysis of how the beauty and wonder of the Qur'anic language is explained and understood through the principles of balaghah, which is associated with the interpretation of Ibn Ashur.

Abstract

Maintaining state sovereignty and increasing vigilance in the field of defense and security are crucial aspects in maintaining the integrity and safety of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). State sovereignty includes external, internal, and territorial aspects that must be protected from various threats, both from other countries and non-military threats such as immigration violations. Efforts to maintain sovereignty are carried out through natural resource management, strengthening military defense, geopolitical diplomacy, and implementing an effective defense management system. Vigilance in the field of defense and security also involves increasing interstate cooperation, border surveillance, and strengthening public awareness and participation in the universal people’s defense system. With a holistic approach involving the government, military and society, Indonesia can face geopolitical challenges and maintain national stability in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study examines the optimization of the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) as a transformative model for strengthening civic awareness and empowering the community of Timbang Lawan Village, Langkat Regency, Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and documentation involving students, village officials, and community members. The findings reveal that the KKN program serves as an effective platform for promoting civic values, participatory learning, and sustainable development. Religious and social engagement activities such as the Muharram Festival and literacy mentoring enhanced civic consciousness and social solidarity. Economic empowerment through eco-printing, health education via Apotek Hidup, and environmental awareness through village tourism collectively built a culture of cooperation and self-reliance. The study concludes that the success of KKN depends on participatory collaboration, value integration, and institutional sustainability. Therefore, optimizing KKN as a civic empowerment framework strengthens not only academic-community partnerships but also contributes to Indonesia’s broader agenda of inclusive and sustainable nation-building.
