Abstract

Technology requires us to continue to adapt to current advances and changes. One of the developments and changes that is developing is in the world of education, where learning and teaching activities which are usually carried out between teachers and students meet and interact directly, in other words, teachers to students, students and other students, are not at all connected to the internet network. . But with technology, it is possible to do all these activities, interact and communicate anytime and anywhere without being limited by space and time. To improve effective learning outcomes and continue to strive for this, one way is to enrich knowledge or expand students' knowledge by utilizing information technology, namely virtual classes. Virtual classes are classes that are held without direct face-to-face contact between the teacher and those receiving the teaching materials. Virtual classes are directly connected to the internet. Community Service carried out by a team of Informatics Engineering lecturers at Pamulang University, South Tangerang, chose the Cahaya Islam Mutiara Imani Foundation (CIMI) Pondok Benda Pamulang, South Tangerang as the venue for the implementation. This service activity aims to introduce virtual classroom technology as a support for effective and time-appropriate teaching and learning activities to teachers and students of the Cahaya Islam Mutiara Imani Foundation (CIMI) Pondok Benda Pamulang South Tangerang, with the hope that the learning system can be carried out anytime and anywhere without limitations. given time and space, it is not boring and teachers also have the opportunity to learn and upgrade their broader knowledge. The targeted output of this Community Service is in the form of a national journal with ISSN.

Abstract

Introduction To Sentiment Analysis For As-Sakinah Students Of The Bamboo Apus Pamulang Fondation, South Tangerang. This Community Service was held to provide understanding to the students of the As-Sakinna Foundation so that in order to express their emotions and opinions, there are three main types of sentiment: Emotion, Opinion, and Polarity. Apart from that, it is also important to understand that the complexity of sentiment is not just black and white, but there are many factors that influence a person's sentiment. For this reason, the Pamulang University Community Service team provides outreach regarding the basic principles of sentiment analysis. This Community Service activity is carried out using the workshop method, where the method is carried out in several forms of activities, such as lectures as well as presenting material regarding the basics of sentiment analysis using PowerPoint, Infocus, providing basic material, application in life, as well as describing technological developments related to analysis. sentiment for the future. With this method, students and teachers have more inspiration and knowledge about how to carry out sentiment analysis. This community service activity went smoothly, on time, and as expected. This was proven by the participants' active participation in the entire event process and the question and answer process regarding the material provided.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity was held to provide understanding to the female and female students of the Tahfiz Daarul Hikmah Ciputat Islamic Boarding School about the importance of using Microsoft Office in everyday life, especially Microsoft Excel to facilitate various activities such as making reports, etc. For this reason, the Pamulang University Community Service team provides outreach regarding what Microsoft Office is, especially Microsoft Excel and how to apply basic Microsoft Excel formulas. This activity is carried out using the workshop or seminar method, where the method is carried out in several forms of activities, such as lectures as well as presenting material regarding the basics of Microsoft Excel, and how to apply it in everyday life to make work or school assignments easier by using PowerPoint and practice. In fact, he was directly accompanied by lecturers and fellow Pamulang University students. With this method, students have more inspiration and knowledge about what and how to use Microsoft Excel. This Community Service activity went smoothly, on time, and as expected. This was proven by the participants' active participation in the entire event process and the question and answer process given.

Abstract

The ability to use data processing software such as Microsoft Excel is an important skill that all students should acquire—including those studying in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). However, limited access to technology training in many pesantren has led to a situation where most santri only understand the basic functions of Microsoft Excel. This community service program was designed to improve the santri's advanced Excel skills at Pondok Pesantren Tahfizh Al-Qur’an Daarul Hikmah in Ciputat, South Tangerang. The focus was on supporting administrative data management within the pesantren. The training method combined interactive lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice with advanced Excel formulas such as IF, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, and SUMIF, as well as the use of data visualization tools. To evaluate learning outcomes, we used questionnaires and direct observation to assess participants’ understanding and practical skills. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ ability to use advanced Excel features effectively. They also demonstrated increased confidence and efficiency in managing administrative data. Notably, the number of participants exceeded expectations, with strong engagement throughout the sessions. Beyond skill development, the training raised awareness among santri about the importance of mastering digital tools as a critical asset for their future careers. In conclusion, the program proved to be an effective model for technology-based empowerment in pesantren settings. It is hoped that this initiative will continue in the future to reach a wider and more lasting impact.

Abstract

Perancangan sistem informasi berbasis web menjadi solusi efisien dalam menjembatani komunikasi antara perusahaan dan pelanggan. PT. Jayakarta Embroidery Centre sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang bordir membutuhkan media informasi digital yang dapat diakses secara luas dan memudahkan pelanggan dalam melakukan pemesanan maupun mengajukan pertanyaan. Penelitian ini merancang sebuah website menggunakan React JS sebagai frontend dan memanfaatkan Laravel untuk membangun Application Programming Interface (API) yang berfungsi mengirimkan data dari pengguna langsung ke email perusahaan. Sistem ini tidak menggunakan basis data maupun fitur admin, melainkan berfokus pada integrasi formulir online dengan layanan email untuk menyederhanakan proses komunikasi. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang sederhana, ringan, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi serta mempercepat proses tanggapan dari pihak perusahaan terhadap calon pelanggan.

Abstract

The manual verification process of thesis titles in higher education institutions is often time-consuming and prone to oversight, making it difficult to ensure the uniqueness of each student’s work. This poses serious academic risks, as undetected similarities in thesis titles can lead to unintended plagiarism, compromise academic integrity, and undermine the credibility of educational institutions. In a broader sense, repeated or overlapping research topics also reflect a lack of innovation and weaken the scientific contribution of academic programs. To address this issue, an automated detection system is needed to efficiently identify similarities between thesis titles. This study aims to develop a web-based thesis title similarity detection system that integrates Levenshtein Distance and Cosine Similarity algorithms. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, involving stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. Functional features such as login, title data management, old spelling normalization, and real-time similarity detection were implemented. The results show that the combination of both algorithms effectively detects similarities in character and semantic aspects. The inclusion of an old spelling normalization feature significantly improves detection accuracy by aligning historical and modern word forms prior to analysis. In conclusion, the developed system not only supports a faster and more objective title verification process but also contributes to the prevention of academic plagiarism and promotes integrity in higher education environments.
