Abstract

Bertambahnya jumlah penduduk serta meningkatnya kebutuhan pasar kerja memunculkan perhatian banyak pencari kerja di seluruh Indonesia terutama pada daerah yang dipenuhi berbagai macam perusahaan yang bergerak diberbagai bidang industri khususnya pada kota Balikpapan. Meninjau tingginya kebutuhan pasar kerja di Kota Balikpapan maka Balai Latihan Kerja Industri kota Balikpapan memberikan fasilitas pelatihan untuk para pencari kerja dan penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan peran dari Balai Latihan kerja Industri Kota Balikpapan dalam menyediakan tenaga kerja pada dunia perindustrian. Penelitian ini menggunakan Indikator keberhasilan program pelatihan kerja yaitu dari faktor adanya perubahan nyata yang diciptakan oleh Balai Latihan Kerja Industri Kota Balikpapan. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPTD. Balai Latihan Kerja Industri Kota Balikpapan. Adapun pengambilan data yang digunakan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, Snowball Sampling dan Proportional Sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pelatihan kerja di Balai Latihan Kerja telah dijalankan secara maksimal untuk mewujudkan pusat pelatihan kerja yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pasar kerja serta memberikan perubahan nyata dengan tersedianya tenaga kerja untuk berbagai industri

Abstract

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises “Cahaya Samarinda” is one of the pioneers in the weaving industry development in Samarinda. The Cahaya Samarinda only did their marketing through words of mouth. The purpose of this study was to determine and identify the marketing strategies used by Cahaya Samarinda in Tenun Tourism Village. This study used the 4P marketing concept by Philip Kotler. The four elements, which were product, price, place, and promotion, were used as an analytical framework to identify how Cahaya Samarinda as an MSME managed its tenun fabric products, determined selling prices, carried out promotional activities, and chose distribution channels. This research is descriptive qualitative, with informants selected by using purposive sampling. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that Cahaya Samarinda had advantages in product quality at affordable prices. However, this MSME still had room to widen the market range through the use of social media and participation in exhibitions. Although the location of the store was not strategic, high-quality products and good service became the main attractions for customers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) in the development of Embung Banyu Langit tourism in Suka Maju Village, Kongbeng District, East Kutai. This research used qualitative method with data collection techniques including in-dept interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data analysis is conducted descriptively and qualitatively to illustrate the role of POKDARWIS in managing, promoting and empowering the local community to ensure the sustainable development of Embung Banyu Langit tourism. The result show that POKDARWIS of Suka Maju Village plays a significant role as a facilitator, motivator, initiator and manager in tourism development. Supporting factors include the village’s tourism attraction, government support, and active community participation. Based on these findings, this study recomendeds increased support from the government and stakeholders to strengthen the capacity and role of POKDARWIS in Suka Maju Village to achieve sustainable and inclusive tourism development.
