Abstract

This study was motivated by the community's habit of paying zakat through BAZNAS Cilegon City. Even though the population of this village is predominantly Muslim and the income of the people is very high, this is just unfulfilled potential. Apart from that, this great potential must be supported by excellent service from the Cilegon City Baznas to maximize this great potential. This research aims to find out how the public perceives BAZNAS services in Cilegon City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to generalize the population from several samples so that conclusions can be made. The data sources for this research are informants from several communities as a result of the informants. Furthermore, the data collection technique in this research uses a questionnaire distributed to the public. Then the results are analyzed descriptively (descriptive analysis) and then the results are interpreted through survey results in the form of tables or images. The results of research on the analysis of the level of conformity between the level of perception and preferences of Muslim tourists towards Cilegon City Baznas services show that the average level of conformity is 100%, which means very good. However, several aspects must be a priority in improving services to the community, namely the human resources aspect with the attribute "Responsive officers in responding to community needs" and the aspect of ease of information and speed of service with the attribute.

Abstract

Syatibi, a prominent scholar of the Maliki school of thought, is considered a scholar who is very detailed and complete in discussing the concept of maslahat in Islamic law in his very popular book al-Muwafaqat. This normative juridical research examines the literature on the benefit of Syatibi as the core of this article, then tests it in its use on contemporary waqf issues, especially the regulations for registering waqf assets. He has clarified the benefits into two parts, the benefits from his existence in the world and from the aspect of his relationship with the shari'ah statements (kkitab shari'ah). In relation to its existence in the world, maslahat means something that talks about the upholding of human life and the achievement of everything that is held by its intellectual and emotional qualities. Therefore, in a practical sense, maslahat is closely related to something that is common in society, which is called adat. Meanwhile, from the second aspect, everything returns to the provisions of the shari'ah provisions. Through his views, he then analyzed the regulations for registering waqf assets in Indonesia. This normative research is then analyzed from the philosophy of Islamic law so that it is known that the registration of waqf assets remains consistent with the objectives of Islamic law to be enforced in Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose – This study evaluates the economic sectors of the Zakat Village Program by identifying the objectives, criteria, and risks.Methodology – This study uses a qualitative Analytic Network Process (ANP) approach to determine the order of priorities and decision-making. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires with expert respondents in the field of zakat utilization and empowerment.Finding – This research shows that the village zakat program plays an important role in overcoming economic problems. However, experts believe that the aspect of determining activities is still considered low.Implication – The findings of this study contribute to the enhancement of zakat village program planning, so that the objective components of the zakat village program can be expressed more clearly and in detail in the future.Originality – This original study collected the views of experts in evaluating village zakat programs by confirming them through the geometric mean as a priority value for each objective, criteria, main criteria, and risk.

Abstract

One of the pillars of Islamic philanthropy is Zakat. Undoubtedly, it must be done correctly and comply with applicable sharia. The aim of this research is to describe how Zakat and Infaq are managed for ASN Cilegon City and how effective and efficient Zakat management is in Baznas Cilegon City Banten. The approach taken in this research uses a qualitative approach with the literature study method (case study). Data sources in research collect two sources, namely primary and secondary. Primary informants directly include (the community, ASN and Cilegon City Baznas administrators). Secondary, namely strengthening data from primary such as: Journal articles, E-Books, Online Proceedings, magazines, newspapers and other internet media. Meanwhile, data collection techniques include observation interviews, documentation and triangulation. The analysis technique used in this research is using Miles and Huberman's theory of data reduction, data display, data verification and drawing conclusions. So, this research resulted in optimizing the distribution of Baznas, the efficiency of distributing Zakat funds, the percentage of distribution efficiency levels, the percentage of Cilegon City Zakat management. So, it can be concluded that Cilegon City Baznas maximizes existing human resources (HR) both internally and externally to Baznas itself. Research findings show that optimization can be said to be quite optimal. For 2018–2022, the average distribution efficiency of zakat funds is 95.8%.
