Abstract

Latar Belakang Nyeri kepala merupakan salah satu gejala yang sering dialami oleh pasien hipertensi Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi akupresur terhadap perubahan skor nyeri kepala pada pasien lansia hipertensi. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan jenis quasi Experimental design menggunakan pendekatan pretest-posttest kontrol group design, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 48 orang yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran variabel dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil: Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji wilcoxom pada skor nyeri kepala lansia hipertensi sebelum dan sesudah terapi akupresur kelompok intervensi didapatkan nilai p 0,000 kurang 0,05 dan terapi farmakologi kelompok kontrol dengan nilai p 0,001 kurang 0,05 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh sebelum dan sesudah diberikan terapi terhadap perubahan skor nyeri kepala. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji Mann Whitney pada terapi akupresur kelompok intervensi dan terapi farmakologi kelompok kontrol terhadap perubahan skor nyeri kepala lansia hipertensi menunjukkan hasil p value 0,000 kurang 0,05 artinya terdapat perbadaan antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Kesimpulan: terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan terapi akupresure kelompok intervensi  dan terapi farmakologi (kelompok kontrol serta terdapat perbedaan antara kelompok terhadap perubahan nyeri kepala pada pasien lansia dengan hipertensi. Saran: dengan penelitian ini diharapkan penelitian selanjutnya menggali lebih dalam mengenai alat ukur nyeri kepala pada lansia penderita hipertensi seperti menggunakan alat ukur McGill Pain Questionnaire.

Abstract

Background: Growth problems along with child nutrition problems are public health problems that have a multifactorial impact on the quality of life of children as the next generation of the nation. The impact of lack of participation and ability of parents in fulfilling and caring for children's growth and development has the potential to become a problem biologically, socially, psychologically, and in maintaining health. Aim: This study aims to analyze the relationship between economic status and family participation with the growth of toddlers in the Urban Area of ​​Berau Regency. Method: Quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach with 159 family samples with toddlers. The instrument used a questionnaire and the Healthy Menu Card. Data analysis was carried out using the Fisher Exact Test with a significance level of 0.05. Results: Most of the respondents in this study had middle economic status (n = 96; 60.4%). Almost half of the respondents were dominated by Good Participation (n = 64; 40.3%). Most children had Normal development status (n = 89; 56.0%). There is a significant relationship between economic status (p-value 0.000; coeff corr 0.635) and Family Participation (p-value 0.000; coeff corr 0.583) with the growth of toddlers in the Urban Area of ​​Berau Regency. Conclusion: The better the economic status and family participation, the better the growth status of toddlers

Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis is a social and public health problem that impacts the economic resilience of families due to the length of treatment, community stigma, health status, and patient productivity. This condition requires patients, especially the Head of the Family, to strive to maintain the family economy due to direct and indirect costs including loss of employment and social status to suppress transmission and treatment. Aims: This study aims to analyse the impact of social relationships on the economic resilience of families with tuberculosis cases. Method: A mixed method design with an explanatory sequential design approach and a quantitative data sample of 96 heads of families with Tuberculosis was used in this study. Independent data variables were obtained using a family social relationship questionnaire and dependent data variables using a Family Economic Resilience questionnaire. Quantitative data analysis was carried out using the Spearman Rank test with a significance level of 0.05 followed by a qualitative test using a triangulation method sourced from in-depth interviews with 4 patients as sources Referring to the results of quantitative data analysis. Results: Most respondents have good social relationships (n = 61; 63.5%) and most have good family economic resilience (n = 74; 77.1%). Social relationships have a significant impact on family economic resilience (p-value 0.000; correlation coefficient 0.744). Conclusion: Good family social relationships positively impact family economic resilience, particularly by addressing the principles of open and focused communication, economic decision-making, and anti-stigma emotional support.
