Abstract

This study aims to enhance the financial literacy skills of elementary school students by integrating financial literacy programs into the curriculum at SD Terrak 1 Pamekasan. Financial literacy is deemed essential for preparing students to face future economic challenges through the introduction of key financial management concepts: earning, saving, spending, and donating. Employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis involving fifth-grade students and teachers as primary informants. The findings indicate that the implementation of the financial literacy program has successfully improved students’ understanding and skills in managing personal finances. Students gained practical experience through entrepreneurial simulations, habitual saving, budget planning, and donation activities that integrate social and ethical values. The use of interactive learning media such as videos, books, and educational games further supported the teaching and learning process, enabling a more concrete comprehension of financial concepts. The study underscores the importance of aligning educational policies, curriculum content, and community involvement to sustain financial literacy education. Therefore, it is recommended that this program be systematically integrated into the national curriculum to foster entrepreneurial character and enhance the financial readiness of future generations.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based personalized learning to enhance the literacy and numeracy competencies of students at SDN Terrak 1 Pamekasan. Facing the challenges of diverse student abilities and the limitations of the classical teaching approach, AI offers a solution through an adaptive learning platform. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and document analysis. The findings indicate that the AI platform significantly increases student motivation, marked by a shift from extrinsic motivation driven by gamification to intrinsic motivation stemming from a sense of mastery. The system successfully personalizes learning paths with precision according to each student's Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD). Consequently, the teacher's role transforms from an information deliverer to a data-informed facilitator who provides targeted interventions. Nevertheless, the implementation faces challenges such as technical infrastructure constraints, initial teacher resistance, and the potential for a digital divide. In conclusion, the success of AI-based personalized learning depends not only on the technology's sophistication but also on the overall readiness of the educational ecosystem, particularly sustainable teacher professional development and equitable policies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi pembeljaran Literasi finansial (Cha-Ching) pengaruhnya terhadap perilaku konsumtif siswa di SD Negeri Terrak 1 Pamekasan. Program Cha-Ching, yang dikembangkan oleh Prudential Corporation Asia, mengajarkan empat konsep utama: menghasilkan uang, menabung, membelanjakan uang secara bijak, dan mendonasikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan siswa kelas kelas 5 dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara literasi finansial dan perilaku konsumtif siswa. Siswa yang memiliki literasi finansial yang baik cenderung lebih mampu mengelola uang saku mereka dengan bijaksana, lebih cenderung menabung, dan menghindari pembelian impulsif. Selain itu, dukungan dari keluarga dan pengaruh teman sebaya juga memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk perilaku konsumtif siswa. Siswa yang mendapatkan dukungan keuangan dari keluarga cenderung memiliki perilaku konsumtif yang lebih rendah, sementara pengaruh teman sebaya yang konsumtif dapat meningkatkan kecenderungan siswa untuk berperilaku konsumtif.
