Abstract

The negative impact of digitalization on students' personal development and moral degradation highlights the urgency of character education as a solution. The government's strategic plan for implementing the Pancasila student profile requires the contribution of counselors as front guards in strengthening character education in schools. This study aims to describe the role of Islamic guidance and counseling on shaping the profile of Pancasila students. The research method applied in this paper is qualitative research with a literature study approach. The researchers gathered the data from supporting articles, books, and research publications. This research reveals that the innovative programs such as online consultations, intensive character courses, and the role of Pancasila student agents are also explained as concrete efforts in achieving character education goals. A proper understanding of the role of counselors in harmonizing the Pancasila student profile, as well as the urgency of awareness and commitment of all school members to achieve intelligent students with character in national and state life.

Abstract

This era, introduced by the Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makariem, emphasizes the freedom of teachers and students to innovate, learn independently, and be creative. Student competency in learning evaluation is considered crucial to ensure the successful implementation of this new educational program. The research method used is a literature study focusing on scientific work relevant to the concept of Independent Learning, learning evaluation, and the role of students in the evaluation process. The analysis is carried out to detail key concepts, compare the views of various researchers, and synthesize information to provide a holistic picture. The research results show that student competencies include understanding various evaluation methods, planning skills, active participation, data analysis, and effective communication about evaluation results. Students need to be able to face a holistic evaluation approach that covers various aspects, including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The research conclusion underlines the importance of developing student competencies in learning evaluation in the Merdeka Belajar era. Research suggestions include the need for support from schools, teachers, and parents and the need to hold training and workshops to improve students' skills. Collaboration between education stakeholders is essential to ensure that the evaluation approach implemented is appropriate to student needs and supports the achievement of national education goals.

Abstract

Significant changes in people's lifestyles and culture, especially the shift from print media to digital media, have forced the world of education to adapt quickly. Evaluation of learning in the digital era requires the development of learning strategies that utilize information and communication technology. Evaluation is crucial in understanding students' learning abilities and determining learning outcomes. Evaluation principles, such as continuity, completeness, cooperation, fairness, and practicality, are essential aspects of the evaluation process. Using digital evaluation tools, such as Google Forms and Kahoot!, has a positive impact with greater efficiency, effectiveness, and student engagement. Google Forms allows for more efficient evaluation by storing data in the cloud, while Kahoot! Provide a fun learning experience and increase student engagement. The workshop results showed that English teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Peranap positively responded to the use of Google Forms in evaluating digital learning, indicating acceptance and recognition of the benefits and convenience of this technology. Integrating digital evaluation tools is a relevant solution for improving the quality of learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a nascent and transformative technology that has the potential to permeate and modify many aspects of our existence. It has developed as a recent phenomenon in the realm of education. This research specifically examines the difficulties and advantages associated with Islamic Education in the contemporary digital era. The objective of this study is to offer a comprehensive analysis of the present condition of Islamic education in the Islamic World. The study technique involves performing a comprehensive library search and collecting data from written sources about the stated subjects. The descriptive-analytical method is used in the discussion method to clarify and elaborate on the key concepts pertaining to the subjects covered. The results show that AI education (AIED) is an emerging field of scientific research for more than 30 years. It is aimed at preparing students with the ability to think critically and solve problems, being able to develop interpersonal communication well, creatively, and, of course, collaboratively, and change the mindset of teachers and other education stakeholders to be more adaptive to technological developments in learning. It is essential to equip students with virtuous values, particularly Islamic values, in order for them to mature into faithful Muslim individuals who possess everlasting faith and reverence towards Allah SWT and demonstrate an outstanding character in their personal, social, national, and state endeavors.
