Abstract

Diffuser aromaterapi merupakan suatu alat yang bisa mengolah air dengan tetesan cairan aromaterapi. Diffuser aromaterapi dapat digunakan di berbagai tempat seperti ruang keluarga, dapur, kamar tidur, dan di ruang kantor. Pada saat diffuser aromaterapi digunakan, konsumen sering mengalami permasalahan yang diakibatkan oleh produk yang harus selalu disambungkan ke sumber tenaga seperti stop kontak atau terminal listrik. Hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan produk tidak bisa digunakan ketika sedang mati listrik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen terhadap produk diffuser aromaterapi, mengidentifikasi karakteristik teknis produk diffuser aromaterapi, mengidentifikasi spesifikasi produk dan rancangan desain produk diffuser aromaterapi dalam bentuk 2D dan 3D. Quality Function Deployment adalah metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil identifikasi kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen terhadap produk diffuser aromaterapi yaitu pada bagian performance diffuser aromaterapi ringan dan memiliki ukuran sedang. Bagian durability diffuser aromaterapi tidak mudah rusak, bersifat tahan lama, dan berbahan baku plastik. Di bagian features diffuser aromaterapi memiliki fitur tambahan slot baterai dan timer. Selanjutnya identifikasi karakteristik teknis produk diffuser aromaterapi yaitu pada diameter memiliki nilai weighted importance sebesar 90, tinggi 90, jenis material 90, slot baterai 45, dan timer 45. Karakteristik yang diterapkan pada produk yaitu weighted importance yang memiliki nilai tertinggi. Karakteristik teknis prioritas yang akan diterapkan yaitu diameter sebesar 18 cm, tinggi sebesar 20 cm, dan jenis material yang digunakan berupa plastik polietilena (PE). Kemudian identifikasi spesifikasi produk yaitu perancangan desain produk diffuser aromaterapi terbentuk dari kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen yang dituangkan dalam matriks House of Quality untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk

Abstract

The development of the ironing table product that is currently made only uses the same design, there is no difference in terms of shape or form and there are not many additional functions. This study aims to identify the size of the ironing table with anthropometry, create a design for developing an ironing table and product development after being folded into a chair, and measure the comfort of product development with a product reference using Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). In this study, anthropometry was used to determine the size of the product to be made, and Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) was used to identify and compare the comfort between reference products and products being developed. The results of the introduction of the ironing table product size using anthropometry are the height of the ironing table of 105 cm, the height and width of the ironing table of 50 cm, the length of the ironing table of 120 cm, the height of the chair seat of 40 cm, the width of the chair seat of 60 cm, the length of the chair seat of 50 cm, and the height of the chair backrest as high as 125 cm. Based on the results of the comfort analysis using RULA, it can be seen that the development product has a smaller value compared to the reference product, so the conclusion is that overall the development product is more comfortable to use than the reference product.
