Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan dan respon siswa media maze adventure game yang layak dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas IV SD N 1 Buayan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, kuesioner, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) media maze adventure game layak digunakan dilihat dari hasil penilaian ahli materi yaitu 86 kriteria baik sekali dan ahli media yaitu 67 kriteria baik sekali; (2) respon siswa terhadap media maze adventure game sangat baik dilihat dari hasil angket respon siswa yaitu 73 (91%). Respon guru terhadap media sangat baik dilihat dari hasil wawancara guru yaitu 29,5 (98,3%); (3) media maze adventure game dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dilihat dari skor rata-rata hasil pretest dan postest yaitu 56,25 menjadi 83,75; (4) media maze adventure game dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dilihat dari skor rata-rata dan persentase hasil angket minat siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media maze adventure game yaitu 91 (75,8%) baik menjadi 115 (95,8%) sangat baik.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, starting from (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The purpose of this study was to increase the learning concentration of class II students at Kanisius Totogan Elementary School in thematic learning using the problem-based learning model. The subjects of this study were 20 students of grade II SD Kanisius Totogan consisting of 11 boys and 9 girls. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and interviews. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that students' learning concentration increased in thematic learning through the application of problem-based learning models. Students' learning concentration experienced an increase in the low pre-cycle (39.5%), the first cycle (49.5%) was moderate, and the second cycle (82.75%) was very high.
