Diabetes melitus turut dipengaruhi berbagai komplikasi, salah satunya ulkus kaki diabetik. Kondisi ini jika berlangsung lama dan tidak dilakukan penatalaksanaan dengan baik, akan terinfeksi bahkan mengakibatkan amputasi. Penanganan sebelum terjadinya ulkus kaki diabetik adalah training foot care, mencakup mengetahui cara mencuci kaki, memotong kuku, dan cara pemakaian lotion yang benar. Hal tersebut efektif dalam mencegah terjadinya ulkus kaki pada pasien diabetes melitus. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh training foot care terhadap kejadian ulkus kaki diabetik pada pasien diabetes melitus.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan pre eksperimen (pre- experimental design) one group pretest-posttest. Populasinya adalah pasien diabetes melitus yang berkunjung di Puskesmas Gunungsari dengan sampel berjumlah 34 orang, dengan metode purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisoner, skrining inlow’s 60-second diabetic foot screen tool, dianalisa menggunakan Uj Wilxocon Singed Rank Test.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi perubahan skor skrining diabetic foot terhadap kejadian ulkus kaki diabetik setelah diberikan training foot care dengan hasil uji statistik nilai ρ value = 0.00 < α = 0,05 yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima dan dapat disimpulkan da Pengaruh Training Foot Care Terhadap Kejadian Ulkus Kaki Diabetik Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus.Disarankan menjadikan tiga elemen foot care yang diteliti sebagai rutinitas harian. Handling diabetic foot ulcers is foot care training, which includes knowing how to wash feet, cut nails, and use lotion correctly. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of foot care training on the incidence of diabetic foot ulcers in patients with diabetes mellitus. Collecting data using a questionnaire, screening inlaw's 60-second diabetic foot screen tool, analyzed using the Wilxocon Signed Rank Test. The results of the study show there is a change in the diabetic foot screening score on the incidence of diabetic foot ulcers after being given foot care training with statistical test results value = 0.00 < = 0.05, which means H0 is rejected. Ha is accepted, and it can be concluded that the Effect of Foot Care Training on the Incidence of Foot Ulcers Diabetics in Diabetes Mellitus Patients. It is recommended to make the three elements of foot care studied as a daily routine.
