Abstract

Various methods in religious education have their own challenges, especially the lecture method which is often considered monotonous, abstract, and supra-rational. In today's technological era, the one-way lecture method, where educators dominate and students only listen and take notes, is no longer recommended. One of the weaknesses of this method is the difficulty of lecturers to monitor students' understanding and the tendency of students to be passive and less motivated, so that learning becomes less effective. To overcome this problem, especially in learning Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK II) which discusses Worship and Muamalah, the assignment method through a project to make a video of prayer practice can be an alternative that is more suitable for generation Z. This generation is known to be expressive, visual, and curious. This generation is known to be expressive, visual, likes instant information, and creative in utilizing technology. Video making allows them to combine elements of theory with their imagination and creativity, making learning more contextual and reflective. Unlike the conventional lecture method, this approach is expected to increase student engagement and motivation.

Abstract

Optimalisasi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada masa balita merupakan hal penting yang perlu dilakukan dalam upaya mencetak generasi penerus yang berkualitas. Keluarga mempunyai peran penting dalam menyiapkan anak mencapai tumbuh kembang optimal, melalui stimulasi dan pemantauan tumbuh kembang dengan menggunakan buku KIA. Buku KIA merupakan sumber informasi lengkap dan instrumen pencatatan kesehatan sejak ibu hamil sampai usia 5 tahun, bahkan saat ini sudah ditingkatkan pemanfaatannya hingga usia 6 tahun. Hal ini diperkuat dengan SK MENKES No. 284 Tahun 2004 tentang Buku Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak (KIA) yang menyatakan bahwa Buku KIA merupakan satu-satunya alat pencatatan pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan anak sejak ibu hamil, melahirkan dan selama nifas hingga bayi yang dilahirkan berusia 5 tahun, termasuk pelayanan imunisasi, gizi, tumbuh kembang anak dan KB. Namun demikian, berdasar data dari dinkes Provinsi Yogyakarta tahun 2016, ibu yang mempunyai dan dapat menunjukkan buku KIA secara nasional baru mencapai 60,50%, sedangkan buku KIA yang terisi lengkap baru berkisar 20%. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman keluarga dan guru tentang buku KIA sebagai upaya optimalisasi tumbuh kembang balita di PAUD ranting Aisyiyah Ngadiwinatan. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi dengan sasaran keluarga dan guru di PAUD ranting Aisyiyah Ngadiwinatan.
