Abstract

RA Al-Asror is an early childhood education institution located on Jl. Legoksari Raya No. 1c, Patemon Village, Gunung Pati District, Semarang City, Central Java Province. In the health sector, the lack of health promotion in PAUD institutions causes children not to understand the importance of a clean and healthy lifestyle. This service aims to provide children with information about how to care for clean nails and how to wash hands properly and correctly. The method used in community service activities is in the form of counseling (socialization). The result of the activity is an increase in students' understanding of fingernails and hand hygiene so that they are expected to pay more attention to and maintain their own health to avoid various diseases.

Abstract

Menghadapi perubahan iklim yang berdampak bagi anak, penting bagi guru untuk membangun pemahaman mengenai mitigasi perubahan iklim, maka peneliti melakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis peningkatan kesadaran mitigasi perubahan iklim melalui model  guided inquiry pada anak usia TK B. Menggunakan metode pre eksperimen one group pre-test dan post-test, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan uji beda dan uji N-Gain. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di TK Pertiwi Bogorejo, dengan subjek seluruh anak kelas TK B sebanyak 32 anak, diambil menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Hasil dari uji Beda adalah sebesar 0,000 ˂ 0,05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan kesadaran dalam mitigasi perubahan iklim setelah diberikan model guided inquiry. Hasil dari Uji N-Gain adalah sebesar 17% dapat ditafsirkan jika Nilai N-Gain masuk dalam katagori tidak efektif. Dengan demikian meskipun terdapat perbedaan kesadaran mitigasi perubahan iklim, pemberian model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dalam konteks mitigasi perubahan iklim belum memberikan dampak yang signifikan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh berbagai keterbatasan dan kendala berupa kurangnya prasarana pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir saintifik anak.

Abstract

This research focuses on the strategies used by school teachers to introduce sexual boundaries to young children during classroom learning. This is driven by the rise in cases of child sexual abuse, while discussions about sexual boundaries are still considered taboo at home and at school, and lack appropriate understanding and strategies for communicating them to children. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the strategies used by teachers, supporting factors, and various obstacles faced by teachers in implementing strategies to introduce sexual boundaries to children. The research method used was descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. Data collection was conducted at a Kindergarten/Kindergarten in Gunungpati District from February 23 to March 6, 2026. The results of the study indicate that instilling sexual boundaries values in early childhood is positioned as an integral part of character education in kindergarten. In delivering sexual boundaries material, there are three strategic stages, namely: (1) giving warnings, (2) raising awareness, and (3) giving educational punishment. In addition, the use of visual media, symbols, songs, and daily habits have been proven to be relevant to the concrete thinking characteristics of early childhood. Teacher understanding and institutional support through school policies, the provision of facilities that support privacy, and the involvement of the school committee are important factors in ensuring the sustainability of the systematic implementation of sexual boundaries education. The obstacles faced by teachers in delivering sexual boundaries material to children are that many parents still consider this topic taboo and therefore do not fully support providing an understanding of sexual boundaries from an early age.
