Abstract

Abstrak: Penyalahgunaan minuman keras saat ini merupakan permasalahan yang cukup berkembang di dunia remaja dan menunjukkan kecenderungan yang meningkat dari tahun ke tahun Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa tentang bahaya minuman keras. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah penyuluhan Kesehatan tentang dampak negatif minuman keras, dan pencegahan perilaku minum minuman keras serta pembagian poster untuk ditempelkan di dalam kelas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu tanggal 04 Maret 2023 pukul 11.00-12.30 WITA, bertempat di sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 1 Amabi Oefeto, Kabupaten Kupang-Nusa Tenggara Timur. Sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah siswa SMA kelas X dan XI yang berumur 15-17 tahun. Jumlah siswa yang mengikuti penyuluhan sebanyak 59 siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat berjalan dengan baik. Siswa antusias dalam kegiatan khususnya penyuluhan yang diberikan. Siswa/i merespon setiap pertanyaan yang diberikan dan ada siswa yang bertanya terkait materi yang diberikan. Poster yang dibagikan juga akan menjadi informasi penting yang akan selalu dibaca dan diingat oleh siswa. Saran dari Penulis adalah perlu adanya upaya-upaya Komunikasi, Informasi, dan Edukas (KIE) Kesehatan kepada siswa di sekolah-sekolah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman di bidang Kesehatan.Abstract: Alcohol abuse is currently a growing problem in the world of adolescents and shows an increasing trend from year to year. The purpose of community service is to increase students' knowledge and awareness about the dangers of drinking. The service method used is health education about the negative effects of drinking, and prevention of drinking behavior and distribution of posters to be pasted in class. This community service activity was carried out on Saturday 04 March 2023 at 11.00-12.30 WITA, at the State Senior High School (SMA) 1 Amabi Oefeto, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The targets of this community service activity are high school students in class X and XI aged 15-17 years. The number of students who took part in counseling were 59 students. This community service activity can run well. Students are enthusiastic in the activities, especially the counseling given. Students respond to every question given and there are students who ask questions related to the material provided. The posters distributed will also be important information that students will always read and remember. The author's suggestion is that there should be Health Communication, Information and Education (IEC) efforts for students in schools to increase knowledge and understanding in the field of Health

Abstract

Stunting is a form of growth failure due to the accumulation of nutritional deficiencies that last for a long time from pregnancy to 24 months of age. The aim of this research is to describe or describe the implementation of the GASING (Clean Stunting Church) program. The research method is qualitative research with an exploratory design and descriptive approach. The main informants are religious figures, while the supporting informants are health workers and mothers who receive GASING assistance. The number of informants selected was 7 people. Data collection was carried out by means of Focus Group Discussion (FGD), non-participant observation and in-depth interviews. The research was conducted in June-July 2024. The results showed that at the beginning of program planning due to the high number of stunting cases; Often attend meetings but there is no real follow-up; Input related to the benefits of eggs and the issue of sustainable balanced nutrition; and Feeling the church needs to take a role. The implementation of the program shows: it is implemented by distributing 7-10 eggs per week at the church on a regular basis; The target is pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children under 2 years old; It has been running for 56 weeks and started with a chicken keeping group. The Monev Process shows that monitoring is carried out every week and every month; There is a KEK mother but the child is born 3.4 kg; The child's body length and weight increase; it is hoped that there will be cooperation with the village government and Health; and can be an example for other churches. The suggestion is that this program could be a good example or model in efforts to prevent and handle stunting in society.
