Abstract

Indonesia's 2020-2024 National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) aims to create a prosperous, just and sustainable Indonesia with a middle to upper income level (middle-income country). In this document there are seven development agendas. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) is directly involved in at least four agendas, namely: Strengthening economic resilience for quality and equitable growth; Regional development to reduce inequality and ensure equal distribution of welfare; Improving the quality and competitiveness of human resources; and Environmental development and increasing resilience to unexpected natural disasters and climate change.

Abstract

Western system education applied to the education in Indonesia during the Dutch colonial rule only aims to meet the workforce in the offices of Dutch colonial government with a cheap wage. In addition, the Western education system only emphasizes intellectual intelligence and is not concerned with the potential of learners. Ki Hadjar Dewantara through Among System seeks to change the education of the western system with an education that has a national system based on the culture of the people who obey it. Among system puts the students as the central education and does not educate by means of orders, compulsion and punishment, so that it can affect the growth of students. By using the Among System the way of orders, compulsion and punishment, can grow the soul of freedom in the learners. Pendidikan sistem Barat yang diterapkan pada dunia pendidikan di Indonesia pada masa pemerintahan kolonial Belanda hanya bertujuan untuk memenuhi tenaga kerja di kantor-kantor pemerintaha kolonial Belanda dengan upah yang murah. Selain itu pendidikan sistem Barat hanya mementingkan kecerdasan intelektual dan tidak mementingkan potensi yang dimilki peserta didik. Ki Hadjar Dewantara melalui Sistem Among berusaha untuk mengubah pendidikan sistem Barat dengan pendidikan yang memiliki sistem nasional dengan berdasarkan kebudayaan masyarakat yang menempatinya. Sistem Among menempatkan peserta didik sebagai sentral pendidikan dan tidak mendidik dengan cara perintah, paksaan dan hukuman, sehingga dapat mempengaruhi tumbuh kembang peserta didik. Dengan menggunakan Sistem Among yang jauh dari cara perintah, paksaan dan hukuman, dapat menumbuhkan jiwa merdeka dalam diri peserta didik
