Abstract

Speaking is one difficult element in English Language Education. It is complex and need some practice for developing this skill. Speaking also uses for communication. When we speak we produce the text and it should be meaningful. In the nature of communication, we can find the speaker, the listener, the message and the feedback. Speaking could not be separated from pronunciation as it encourages learners to learn the English sounds. One of the techniques is movie. Movie is interesting media for student to learn English language and developing their speaking ability. Movie can be effective media for teaching activity in the class, because movie is one of interactive media which can be used for teaching student understanding and comprehension of their ability besides that watching films or movies is a fun way to improve our English especially speaking ability. the benefits of using film in the language learning classroom, it is not surprising that many teachers are keen to use film with their students,and an increasing number of them are successfully integrating film into the language-learning syllabus.

Abstract

Abstract: Information-communication technologies (ICT) are a part ofour world and we use it everyday. ICTs are used in many aspect of life,such as: economic, healthy, social, and education. Teaching techniqueusing chalk and talk or explanation is not popular anymore. It is thensuggested that the teacher uses internet within his teaching learningprocess and it is also compulsory for the students to learn to use it. TheInternet is a must, because it can be used (1) as the source of knowledge(2) as an aid for learning (instructional aid) (3) as teaching or learningfacility (4) as a standard of competency (5) as an administrativeequipment (6) as a supporting equipment for the school management (7)as an educational infrastructure. In language teaching and learning, wehave alot of ways to choose from the world of technology: Radio, TV,CD Rom, Computers, C.A.L.L., The Internet, Electronic Dictionary,Email, Blogs and Audio Cassettes, Power Point, Videos, DVD’s orVCD’s. ICT can also be very attractive for students. The effectivenessof ICT in education is demonstrated by the achievement ofcommunication objectives, while efficiency is showed by saving cost,time and effort. In use in the educational process, theoretically, ICTwould bring positive benefits. For all education participants, bothteachers and students, ICT helps to provide a huge and variousknowledge as well as up to date and easily accessible in a relativelyrapid and in some cases even is free of charge. As a result technologyplays a ver important role in English teaching. Using multimedia tocreate a context or task to teach English has an advantages. This articletry to presents pluses and minuses of ICT usage in English LanguageTeaching (ELT).Key words: Infomation-communication technology (ICT), ICTs tools,pluses and minuses of ICT, multimedia in English teaching, teachinglearning process.

Abstract

Early childhood education basically aims to provide stimulation in all aspects of child development including physical, intellectual, social, emotional and language development to develop optimally. To provide a good education for early childhood we must understand their characteristics and needs according to the level of child development. So we have to provide activities that suit the needs of students and deliver them in the right way. In accordance with the world of early childhood, children learn through play (learning through play) and playing is a learning process for them (playing is learning). Therefore we have to give them activities in a way that fits their world: play.

Abstract

Early childhood education is an important issue to be discussed and addressed by parents and teachers as educators. As a result, the total population of 264 million people in Indonesia, there are 171.17 million people or around 64.8 percent who are already connected to the internet. This figure increased from 2017 when the internet penetration rate in Indonesia was recorded at 54.86 percent. By being given an education from an early age, children can use gadgets to find topics that match the subject matter at school, in addition to facilitating communication with parents and other family members. While digital technology can be used to help children learn and develop, it is up to parents to monitor what kind of information is accessible. Parents face many challenges in educating, raising, and nurturing their children in today's digital era.
