Abstract

Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran multimedia RJP terhadap kepercayaan diri mahasiswa keperawatan dalam melakukan RJP di STIKES dr. Soebandi Jember. Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasy eksperimental dengan rancangan randomized subject, pretest-posttest without control group design. Jumlah responden sebanyak 36 menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Lokasi penelitian di STIKES dr. Soebandi Jember. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor kepercayaan diri mahasiswa keperawatan dalam melakukan RJP antara sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran multimedia RJP (p=0,000). Pada tahap awal sebelum dilakukan pembelajaran multimedia RJP (pretest), rata-rata kepercayaan diri responden mencapai 4,97 (2-3 pertanyaan menjawab percaya diri) dengan nilai terendah 4 dan nilai tertinggi 7. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran multimedia RJP (posttest), rata-rata kepercayaan diri responden mencapai 7,69 (3-4 pertanyaan menjawab percaya diri) dengan nilai terendah 7 dan nilai tertinggi 8. Sedangkan komponen kepercayaan diri responden dalam melakukan RJP antara sebelum dan setelah pelatihan terjadi perbedaan yang signifikan dengan masing-masing nilai p<0,05. Simpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan multimedia RJP dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam melakukan RJP.

Abstract

The number of bystander CPR as the first helper of out ofhospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is stilllow in various countries. The effort that can be done is by providing CPR training in thecommunity. This study aims to analyze the influence of learning media with fabel animation video(VAF) to knowledge about CPR. This true experimental study with randomized subject, pretestposttest control group design have been done on 120 respondents divided into 2 groups that isVAF and module with three times measurement in SDN Kampungdalem 3 and 4 Kota Kediri. Theresult of this study indicate that in both groups has a significant influence on knowledge (p =0,000). Significant differences between VAF and module are on after and one week after CPRtraining. This suggest that CPR training using VAF provides more effective than module on CPRknowledge in children.

Abstract

Background :    Currently, there are wrong actions for provide in first aid for burns. However, burns can become a medical emergency if not treated properly. Infection, tissue damage is one of the sequelae that often appears. Motivation has considered as factors that can influence a person to provide first aid if there is a case of burns. Objective: The Object of this research is to determine differences motivation in first aid education for burn in SMPN 1 Kalisat.  Methods :    The method of this research used quasy-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The are 384 student for this population and the sample taken is 96 respondents using probability sampling techniques. The research instruments used documentary films and motivation questionnaires. This research test used the Wilcoxon tests. Results:  Before screening the documentary film, motivation was in the strong category. After the screening of the documentary film, the students' motivation was in the strong category. Statistical test used Wilcoxon test with P Value < 0,05 that means there were differences in students' motivation before and after the screening of the documentary film on first aid for burns at SMPN 1 Kalisat. Conclusions:  Student motivation can be increased with health education interventions in providing first aid for burns. This increased motivation is due to increasing the confidence and knowledge of students who receive health education in the form of documentary film.

Abstract

Background: Burns are one of the injuries that can affect children. Children aged 5-14 years are the age in growth and development to develop gross motor skills that have a high risk of injury. School-age children aged 6 years have higher assumptions about their physical abilities while for ages 7-12 years have limitations in understanding related to personal safety, even though adolescent children should be able to perform first aid. Purpose: to identify students' willpower to giving first aid for burns before the documentary film is screened, to identify students' willpower to giving first aid for burns after the documentary film is screened and analyze the difference  on students' willpower to giving first aid for burns before and after screened of the Documentary Film giving first aid for burns. Methods: The study used the quasi experimental method with one group pretest-post test design. The sample of this study was 96 grade eight students of SMPN 1 Kalisat using a simple random sampling technique. Instrument of the research used questionnaire and media audiovisual. The questionnaire used to measure willpower variables. Media audiovisual used documentary film. The duration of the documentary film is 10 minutes and this is shown 3 times for 1 hour. Results: Data analysis using the Mc Nemar test with a P Value of 0.00 means that there is a difference on students' willpower to giving first aid for burns before and after screened documentary films. Conclusion: Before the documentary film was screened, most students hadn't had the willpower to giving first aid for burns, After the documentary film was screened, most students had the willpower to giving first aid for burns, and there was a difference on students' willpower to giving first aid for burns before and after screened documentary films.
