Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SDN Semawung dengan menggunakan model role playing. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SDN Semawung mengalami peningkatan. Persentase ketuntasan siswa pada pra siklus menunjukkan hanya 40,74%, kemudian meningkat pada siklus I yaitu menjadi 62,97%. Pada siklus II, persentase ketuntasan siswa naik menjadi 81,49%. Selain itu, hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode role playing telah mengalami peningkatan. Persentase hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I adalah 86,67% kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 96,67%. Sedangkan persentase hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai 74,4% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 90,6%.Kata Kunci : keterampilan berbicara, role playing ABSTRACTThis research aim to improve the students' speaking skills of V class at Semawung Elementary School by using role playing. The study concluded that the students' speaking skills of V class increased. The percentage of students in pre-cycle completeness showed only 40.74%, then increased in the first cycle that became 62.97%. In the second cycle, the percentage of completeness of students increased to 81.49%. In addition, the observation of teacher activity and student activity during learning by using role playing has improved. The percentage of the observation of teacher activity in the first cycle was 86.67% and then increased in the second cycle into 96.67%. While the percentage of the observation of student activity in the first cycle was 74,4% and increased in the second cycle to 90,6%.Keywords: speaking skills, role playing
