Abstract

Setiap negara memiliki mata uang masing-masing ynag menjadi ciri khas negara tersebut, dan mata uang tersebut sangat penting untuk kestabilan ekonomi negara tersebut. Dalam perdagangan internasional, penggunaan mata uang sebuah negara belum tentu dapat digunakan ke negara lain, sehingga adanya keperluan untuk menggunakan mata uang yang disepakati untuk transaksi. Artikel ini membahas tentang latar belakang munculnya Local Currency Settlement, perkembangan dan penggunaannya, dan dampaknya pada mata uang US Dollar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini memaparkan sejarah alasan dibentuknya kebijakan Local Currency Settlement, penjelasan tentang kelebihan dan alur transaksi Local Currency Settlement, dan dampaknnya pada mata uang US Dollar yang terjadi penurunan sedikit.

Abstract

Usaha Kuliner merupakan usaha yang paling sering dikunjungi oleh orang-orang, karena makanan adalah salah satu bentuk dari tiga pokok kebutuhan manusia. Usaha kuliner telah berkembang pesat, terutama di Kota Pontianak, namun berbagai permasalahan yang muncul menyebabkan usaha tersebut menjadi tidak mampu bertahan, hingga harus terpaksa menutup usaha tersebut. Penelitian ini meneliti Warung Mas Damar, salah satu usaha kuliner di Kota Pontianak, dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, melalui metode analisis SWOT untuk menentukan kondisi usaha saat ini, dan dikembangkan menjadi matriks SWOT untuk mengetahui strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk berkembang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Warung Mas Damar memiliki jumlah kekuatan dan peluang yang lebih tinggi daripada nilai kelemahan dan ancaman. Hasil Analisis SWOT tersebut disusun menjadi beberapa strategi, seperti meningkatkan pelayanan, menggunakan sosial media dan aplikasi mitra pesan antar untuk mendukung usaha tersebut.

Abstract

Blue Ocean Strategy is considered to be an unique strategy to be used by business owners, as its was first introduced as a way to “create profit by finding new market and less focusing on competing”. However, as much as the strategy have been introduced and used, how does it perform in practice? What is Blue Ocean Strategy main points, and what are the theoretical research thinks about the strategy? These has yet to be unanswered, hence using qualitative research with literature review method to conduct research, the discussion points out what makes blue ocean distinctive as a strategy, the theoretical perspectives from many authors about blue ocean strategy, and the example cases in implementing Blue Ocean Strategy.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is aimed to review competency communication as a relevant research subject used for management study, by recapitulating theories and previous researches related to the variable in order to gain an understanding and its development toward the subject. This paper uses literature review as its research methodology, using of total 17 books and 13 scientific articles (3 of which is a final assignment) to compose this paper. Results of this paper shares the definitive definition of competence communication, as an individual’s communication mastery and experience towards other person efficiently and effectively to achieve everyone’s goals; describing the characteristics that supports the definition, with the basis of Spiztberg and Cupach’s opinion, then Trenholm & Jensen deiatiling the characterisics, and using the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Number 38 of 2017 to applying it in the government in practice; checking the indicators used as previous researches measurements, by looking at Wiemann, Payne, Shockley & Zalabak, dan Sriussadaporn-Charoenngam & Jablin’s indicators; and reviewing competence communication as a research variable related to previous researches, consisting of leadership styles, performance, work satisfaction, and self-efficacy, with training and organizational culture as a potential research variable to reviewed with competence communication. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan maksud untuk meninjau kembali kompetensi komunikasi sebagai subjek penelitian yang relevan digunakan di studi manajemen, dengan mengikhtisarkan teori-teori dan penelitian sebelumnya yang berhubungan dengan variabel tersebut untuk mencapai pemahaman dalam perkembangan tentang subjek tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan sebagai metode penelitian, dengan jumlah 17 buku dan 13 artikel ilmiah (3 diantaranya terdiri dari 2 Tesis dan 1 Skripsi) digunakan untuk menyusun penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini memaparkan definisi yang dapat menyimpulkan maksud dari kompetensi komunikasi, yaitu penguasaan dan pengalaman seseorang dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang lain secara efektif sehingga tercapai tujuan yang ingin dicapai oleh semua pihak; menjelaskan karakteristik-karakteristik yang mendukung definisi tersebut, dengan mendasarinya dari pendapat Spitzberg dan Cupach, kemudian dijelaskan lebih lanjut oleh Trenholm dan Jensen, serta menggunakan Peraturan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Nomor 38 Tahun 2017 untuk melihat praktiknya dalam segi pemerintah; melihat pengukuran-pengukuran yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian-penelitian terdahulu, dengan melihat indikator-indikator milik Wiemann, Payne, Shockley & Zalabak, dan Sriussadaporn-Charoenngam & Jablin; dan mengkaji kompetensi komunikasi sebagai variabel penelitian yang disebutkan oleh penelitian sebelumnya, termasuk gaya kepemimpinan, kinerja, kepuasan kerja, dan efikasi diri sebagai variabel yang telah diteliti sebelumnya, dan pelatihan dan budaya organisasi sebagai variabel penelitian berpotensi untuk diteliti bersama dengan kompetensi komunikasi.

Abstract

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) was a popular crypto asset in the year 2021-2022, where viral news involving a NFT with huge price being sold causes a big interest to NFTs and OpenSea, one of the biggest NFT market place, and creating supply and demand for buying and selling NFTs, especially people who are only aware of cryptocurrency becoming the one who buys cryptocurrency and crypto assets. Although NFTs has since lost its initial exposure, the literatures of NFTs remains scarce, and the research involving NFTs has since been lower. This research is aimed to reviews literatures involving NFTs, using literature review method with „NFTs“ or „Non-Fungible Tokens“ as keywords to search for relevant literatures and research articles. The result of the research gave a definitive definition of NFTs compiled from many authors, the method people use to create NFTs and ways to invest NFTs safely, opportunities and risks in investing NFTs and the technological aspect, and what the future has for NFTs, investing and technological wise.

Abstract

The need for a resilience business is rising as the world has entered the post-pandemic era. Every change made during the pandemic restriction has been reverted, and some changes are irreversible, as they already become a part of people's lives. Although the pandemic is over, education has to continue to teach people, and there is a demand for people who want to learn new skills or soft skills for work or to be productive. Online course offers a solution for people in learning, as it is a part of e-learning and online learning. Many people have taken the initiative to be involved in the online course, making revenues. This paper’s purpose is to give insights about online courses as a part of online learning, and the effect it can have in education from methods, perspectives, and potentials it has. Hence, this paper explains three main points: 1) Explaining the learning method in online courses, 2) Understanding the differences between E-Learning and traditional teaching, and 3) the Potential of Online Courses. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive research design, using a literature review to collect data. The results of this paper gave a more refined definition of E-Learning and Online Courses and described the differences in learning methods, with asynchronous learning consisting of Massive Open Online Courses and YouTube and synchronous learning consisting of webinars and subscription-type online courses; students interested in E-Learning according to survey with instructors pointing out advantages and disadvantages, and potentials in selling MOOCs in Udemy, Youtube, paid webinars, and subscription-type online course paid monthly or annually.
