Abstract

Mangrove ecosystems are the main focus of the Indonesian government for conservation and restoration activities. Damage to the mangrove ecosystem has suffered quite apprehensive damage due to the actions of irresponsible parties. The function of the mangrove ecosystem, which incidentally is a source of life for other living things, is starting to shift. This also affects human life, especially those living in coastal areas. The restoration of the mangrove ecosystem in Tulehu Village aims to restore damaged mangrove areas on the coast of Wababe Beach. The implementation of the mangrove planting involved youth, the Trash Hero Ambon Community, Lecturers at the Tual State Fisheries Polytechnic, as well as Lecturers and Students at the Muhammadiyah University of Maluku. Collaboration with related agencies (BPDAS Waehapu Batumerah) was also carried out to obtain mangrove seedlings. The planting of this mangrove sapling is expected to be able to restore the ecological function of mangroves and raise public awareness to protect the environment around the coast of Tulehu Village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception of the Letvuan Tourism Village community in supporting the development of potential historical tourism attractions. The research method used is a qualitative method with data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, the perception of the Letvuan village community in supporting the development of historical tourism attractions in the Letvuan Tourism Village shows an average value of 4.4 which is included in the Strongly Agree / Strongly Support category, the perception of the Letvuan village community in supporting the development of historical tourism amenities in the Letvuan Tourism Village shows an average value of 4.4 which is included in the Strongly Agree / Strongly Support category, the perception of the Letvuan village community in supporting the development of historical tourism accessibility in the Letvuan Tourism Village shows an average value of 4.0 which is included in the Agree / Support category, the perception of the Letvuan village community in supporting the development of other supporting services in historical tourism attractions in the Letvuan Tourism Village shows an average value of 4.5 which is included in the Strongly Agree / Strongly Support category. With a total recapitulation score obtained is 17.3 with an average score of 4.3. Thus, the entire community stated that they Strongly Agree or Strongly Support the Development of Potential Historical Tourism Attractions in Letvuan Tourism Village. Abstract

This study aims to determine the existence of the "sasi" culture in the preservation of mangrove ecotourism in Taar Village, Tual City, to find out the "sasi" rules that apply to mangrove ecotourism in Taar Village, Tual City. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Informants in this study are the Taar Village Community, and key informants in this study are the Taar Village Apparatus. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The results of the study indicate that the sea sasi culture not only contributes to mangrove conservation, but also increases public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. In addition, ecotourism based on sea sasi practices provides benefits to local communities. Thus, the existence of sea sasi culture can function as a model for harmonious natural resource management between the environment and increasing public awareness of sea sasi culture towards the preservation of mangrove ecotourism.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the existence of traditional wedding ceremonies in the Ngilngof Tourism Village and their potential for developing cultural tourism. The research method used was qualitative with in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The results show that traditional wedding ceremonies in Ngilngof Village have rich cultural elements, including rituals, symbols, and strong local values. The local community has a positive perception of the ceremony's potential as a tourist attraction, which can provide economic benefits and increase cultural awareness. However, there are challenges in preserving traditions amidst the development of the tourism industry. This study recommends a preservation strategy that involves the local community and stakeholders to optimize the development of cultural tourism based on traditional wedding ceremonies.
